Staff was friendly, I had to fix a clogged toilet, sink drained slow, light switch didn't work, come back from work and my door was open, didn't find anything missing. Hope next weekend is better

It was hot in the room at first. There was trash under the beds. The shower head was unclean. The customer service rep charged me a $12 service fee because I used a 3rd party booking site. So I basically paid full price for the room. They also wouldn't give us enough towels for thw amount of people in the room. There was 3 people and we would've had to use the towels then go down stairs and switch them out

Very Bad Experience.
Rooms was smelly,
Blankets was dirty/Marks on blanket.
Oven was not working.
TV was not working.
Breakfast.
I saw clearance tags on the donuts boxes.
After all the above things. They Charged extra $30 per night in the name of service charges.

I had the absolute worst hotel check-in experience at Super 8 by Wyndham Plano/Dallas Area.I had booked my stay through *******, and the confirmation clearly stated that everything was "all set" and there were no pending payments. However, when I arrived at the hotel around 10:30 PM with my family after a long day of travel, the front desk receptionist tried to charge me almost the same amount as my original booking, claiming it was a "service charge" because I had booked through a third-party website (*******). This was absurd and incredibly frustrating, especially at that hour. I had to spend time contacting both ******* and requesting the hotel manager. After a long, tense discussion, they finally agreed that I owed no additional money, but the whole situation left me feeling stressed and uneasy.
Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. The room itself was subpar. The AC was so loud it was impossible to sleep, and the bathroom door didn’t even lock. On top of that, the room had a terrible smell, making it even harder to get any rest. I honestly couldn't sleep the entire night.
To make matters worse, there was another couple at the reception counter going through the exact same issue—they were also asked to pay extra because they booked through a third-party site. This seems like a shady practice to me, and it feels like they’re trying to take advantage of people.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The hidden charges, poor customer service, and substandard

True to charge unexpected fee
Asked me if I will be willing to pay $10 more for an upgrade to 2 queen beds room even though I placed the order for a 2 queen beds room. When I refused to pay extra they then said that I have to pay $50 for deposit which is unfriendly to me. It took six days for the credit to show up in my credit card.
