The room had a bad odor. Not sure what it was. It was a dirty smell -- some mildew and probably mold. The shower was either too hot or too cold. When turning to warm, the pressure dropped and only a trickle of water came out. The refrigerator did not work and was dirty. They did replace the fridge on the second day after I mentioned it to the front desk. Found a dead roach by the new fridge. There was no shelf or counter space to store toiletries in the bathroom. For a hotel that does not offer anything for breakfast except coffee, the price of a room was way too expensive. The air conditioner was noisy and barely put out any cold air. Fortunately, the outside temperature was in the 70s during my stay. Lots of homeless people and trash in the area nearby. Not safe to go out alone at night. I do not recommend this hotel. Stay away!

This place was the dirtiest place I've ever seen, and the fact the first floor was all people who lived there full time was mad creepy. I've never seen dirtier walls in a hotel outside of a movie; yes, it was that bad.

Great location in walking distance of entertainment (Hampton Coliseum), dining and shopping. Really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and attentiveness. I felt like family from check-in. I don’t have a pet but I notice the hotel is pet friendly also. I’d return with no hesitation.

We had a lovely time. Red Roof is where he & I met years ago 2012. We are still going strong. Over the years we have lost contact but always seem to find each other again and meet at Red Roof. Red Roof is apart of our relationship history. Thank you Red Roof Inn & Staff for all you do to make our stay comfortable & rememberable.
