Chose to stay at this property after leaving another property due to the lack of cleanliness. The room I stayed in at this hotel was much better than the one I left, but this could also use some attention to detail when it comes to cleaning. The lamps were a bit dusty age hard water stains on the shower head and faucet. There was something that spilled on the side of the night stand that had dried and not been cleaned. There was also some wear and tear in the bathroom. But I'd take that over the mold, mildew, and rust that was in the previous hotel I checked in to before coming here.

Front desk staff was extremely helpful and polite. Unfortunately, the room we had been placed in. It was very evident that it had not been thoroughly cleaned as we found evidence of unclean bed. Linens and personal toiletries had been left in the bathroom by a previous patron.

When we brought this to the attention of the clerk at the front desk, she promptly placed us more adequate room, and we were very grateful for her kindness and professionalism. The breakfast the following morning was very tasty and set up in a very nice presentation. For a hotel that accepts visitors with animals, I found it to be quite clean which was nice.

My room smelled horrible, the staff tried to accommodate with Febreeze and offered Clorox but that only did so much. The sofa in the suite was horrible, it was peeling as if it was found in the dumpster and very dirty. The floors had crumbs everywhere and the shower/tub had hair in it and drained very slow. Very disappointing when you have to go purchase cleaning supplies to clean a room that should already be clean and presentable.

Wingate by Wyndham Lake Charles Cassino Area is an OUTSTANDING facility. Everything about it oozes elegance, physical layout of check in area, very courteous staff, and best of all a huge two room suite!
