Rooms were nice. Hotel was kept clean. Very good hot breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially Brianna H and Miss Rosella (Sissy). Would definitely recommend a stay at the Hawthorn Extended Stay.

This is a new hotel. The staff are really nice. Ms. Elke serves a very good breakfast. Ms. Close one of the desk clerks is really nice as so are the other staff workers. We truly enjoyed our stay. I recommend anyone who comes through Jackson,TN to stop by here and see how beautiful the work is done on the inside.

We checked in at ten o'clock at night after a fifteen hour drive. Brianna was at the desk, and she was so kind and helpful and welcoming. The groom was great although we weren't there real long.We had a quick breakfast. But everything was clean, nice.Had a great shower would recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling. The woman at the desk in the morning was just as nice and helpful. We did not remember her name but we also met the maintenance man.Super friendly. And we spoke with whom I believe was the owner, and he was also very accommodating. I would give it six stars out of five.

This place should not even be allowed to book patrons! The carpets are disgusting. My room door would not lock. I pulled the sheets back to find the mattress had multiple rings of urine stains, a large blood stain and food all over the mattress. The toilet had urine in it. The chair was broken. You couldn’t even see out of the window due to dirt! There was something brown all over the wall. The baseboards were hanging off the wall. The ceiling was splattered with something, the ceiling plaster was missing in large areas. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund. The attendant had to call the boss who then had her go to the room to make sure I hadn’t messed it up, as if anything I could have done to it would have made it worse! They insisted on having my credit card on file which I refused. I had to contact Priceline to get the refund and get them to contact the hotel. The parking lot was covered with trash. The outside of the building has mold and filth all over the outside. It’s so nasty. It should not be in business. They tell you it’s under a “major renovation”. Well it should be shut down until it’s done. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! Save your money. If you’re looking for something in the same price range, go to America’s Best in the same town. It’s not far away from this place and it’s at least clean and safe!

Worse hotel I have ever been in. As soon as you walk in the lobby you get that feeling. Floors were dirty, carpet was stained. Yes, it might be in the middle of a renovation but that is not why it looks the way that it does. Two families checked out at 9:30 pm as we were checking in, that was a red flag. We realized why the minute we stepped in our room. The sink in the bathroom was clogged with a plastic tip from a cigar in the drain. The room smelled and the night clerk wasn’t pleasant. We were in the room maybe 10 minutes before we found another hotel to stay at. We were not refunded our $$ because she said we pulled the sheets to inspect for bedbugs.

I recently stayed at LaQuinta and had an incredibly disappointing experience. This hotel needs to be condemned or shut down until it is completely remodeled. The carpets were filthy, both in the hallway and the room we stayed in. There was no hot water, which is a basic necessity for any hotel stay. Additionally, large boxes cluttered the entranceway and breakfast room, creating an unwelcoming and unsafe environment. The walls were a mess, with large watermarks and cracks, and the ceiling was in poor condition. Our room was on the second floor, and I felt genuinely concerned for our safety. I believe there are multiple health violations and possibly fire violations as well. This hotel is a significant safety concern. We only stayed for a few hours before deciding to get back on the road. If it hadn't been the Fourth of July weekend, we wouldn't have stayed even that long. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until these serious issues are addressed.

We originally tried to book a room at the Baymont by Wyndham in Jackson Tn. but were told there were no rooms available. She recommended the La Quinta by Wyndham just a few miles from there. She said it was also a very nice hotel that should have rooms available and also provided free breakfast. When we got there, we noticed only 4 vehicles in the lot and at the back of the lot several storage trailers. The grounds looked unkept and overgrown. Almost all the rooms in the 3 story hotel were dark and looked to have no window curtains (we half expected to see Norman Bates mother to be looking out of one of them). As we entered the hotel lobby, we noticed several VERY LARGE carboard boxes in the breakfast dining area and a "construction" plastic sheet along one wall. The woman at check-in was very pleasant and informed us that the only room available was a single queen bed handicap room on the first floor, which was fine with us. Going to our room we noticed the hallway carpet was quite filthy as if it hasn't been cleaned in many years. The room itself was okay, just a basic room. although we didn't see what made it a "handicap room" compared to a regular queen bed room. As for the breakfast. The juice machine was out of order, but there were small single serving cups of cranberry juice in the countertop cooler. There was a single coffee maker with an orange spout handle (was it really "decaf" or regular coffee). The waffle batter came out very slow and thick and stopped before the cup was full. The plates available were only half the size of the waffle. There was no butter for the waffle etc. The danish was a packaged cheese danish, which according to the package, was a week out of date. The "liquid" coffee creamer was thick and chunky. As for the ice machines. A sign by the elevator said the ice machines were on the second and third floors behind the elevators. When I got off of the elevator on the second floor, a woman from housekeeping informed me the ice machines had been removed. If this is what Wyndham considers a "very nice hotel" I'd hate to see what they consider a dump. At $97.00 for one night here we feel we were overcharged by about $25.00 for what we got! I was sent an e-mail by the hotel after my stay asking me to review our stay. I sent them the response you see above. Within a hour of sending this, I received a text from them saying they were sorry we "were unhappy with your experience". They said a team member would follow up by text with me shortly. The team member did text back and asked what our issues were. I told her that my review pretty much said it all, but I gave her a basic run down. Her response was "Your input is valuable to us in enhancing our services. We will address the issues you mentioned to ensure a better experience for all our guests." That was two days ago and the last I've heard from them. We booked our reservation on the fly using our cellphone as it was already 9:30pm and we were still 4 hours from o

I made the reservation on line due to location and that they accepted pets. Absolutely filthy. All electrical outlets covered by plates except for those in use for TV and lamp. No plug ins or USB ports on the lamps of the first room assigned to me. I was moved to another room in which lamps had plug-ins and USB ports. It was equally dirty. There was a plunger in the bathroom which was not reassuring. I was told there were no other available rooms that night, and after doing a search could not find another acceptable hotel in the area that had vacancies and accepted pets. There were stains in the bathtub, so I did not shower there.

Place is dirty and nasty completely run down. And has bed bugs. I showed the manager he said the were wood chips. So why then after being home 2.5 weeks I have bed bugs didn’t stay anywhere else. Do not stay here. I will never stay at a la Quinta again
