Seemed a little run down. But our room appeared clean. The pool and hot tub are big. The pool room is pretty decent.

The desk clerk was both efficient and friendly during check-in and checkout. The room was immaculately clean, and the hot breakfast. was excellent. There is a hiking trail along the creek in the woods behind the hotel which made for a pleasant hike. We will return.

Operations manager was not only unhelpful but rude. Called in morning to try to move reservation to 2 days later due to sudden illness and feeling unsafe to undertake 10 hour drive solo. Hotel had plenty of availability, but all I got from Misty was a brick wall and her bragging about her going to work and driving while being sick. Was I supposed to be impressed? Choice Hotels does not support their customers but only apologizes and then comes up with endless excuses as to why they can’t help.
Told them I would not be able to travel that day and instead of moving my reservation or canceling they took my money and called it a “no show”.
Would never stay at a hotel run under Misty’s management. This kind of treatment of customers is a stain on the name of all Comfort Inns and Choice Hotels.

酒店回复: Thank you for leaving a review. I'm sorry that our property couldn't honor a late cancelation for a reservation that you admittedly made while being sick. Per your own words, You had been feeling sick for a few days EVEN when making the reservation and were in hopes to be feeling better to travel. You made the reservation not even a full 48 hours prior to the arrival date with a 24hr cancellation policy. You called mid morning (10:30-11am) day of your arrival, well past the cancel policy. Our hotel follows its policies on all reservations. These are the exact same policies that you agreed to when making your reservation.As for your complaints about Misty... She didn't brag to you about anything. She only responded to your comments when you asked her to put herself in your shoes and that companies should be more human and not worry and care about policy as much. To be fair, not everyone can fit the same shoe.We are asking at this time that you please look for other hotels accommodations when staying in the Iowa City/Coralville area. Our property will not honor any new or existing reservations made for our property. We wish you well.

New hotel, clean enjoyed the hot tub after a hard day on the road.
The hotel offered a complimentary light home cooked dinner the evening we arrived which was a great. Chatted with Misty who provided the dinner, she was very friendly.

Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was ok. Gym equipment needs maintenance (squeaky). Gym too small for 2+ people. Customer service was great. Thank you.

our mattress cover was dirty few times i went to ask or talk to someonw nobody was therw or answered phone felt discrimitated. we were told strictly to have an orwngw bracelet at all times when in pool area to keep it on the whole time not a single other person. had it on the whole time we were there. only us

I'm so sorry to hear of the issues you experienced during your stay, I know that just shortly after your check in at 9pm, our front desk agent who is also the AGM of the property and only staff on duty at the time was busy assisting other guests within the hotel. I'm also aware that from the time you checked in at 9pm, and had the chance to speak to the AGM about 9:30pm and had a different sofa mattress put into your room was all completed by 10:30pm. As you saw, she needed help from the audit personnel to change out the mattress with new changed mattress cover. As for wristbands, we do require any and all guests to have them on when in the pool area regardless of if you are in the pool /hot tub or not. Since there is no staff/life guards in the pool area, the front desk staff are the ones who monitor it. Since they are only 1 person, there can and will be times where people simply do not follow our rules that we have set forth. If we do catch them without wristbands on, they are asked to either, 1, go get their wristbands and put them on. OR 2. Vacate the premises immediately.

Fine for an overnight stay. Comfy bed. Area was busy. Check in was slow because desk attendant was busy and another couple came down while we were waiting because they had been assigned a room that was not ready. But he eventually took care of us.

Hot tub was way too hot. Staff acted like they didn't want to be there and it was an inconvenience to ask them to get things for the breakfast area

We just stopped for one night, but we were so satisfied. The room was so spacious and comfortable. And was nice and clean. The stag was so helpful, professional an nice.

As a woman traveling alone, safety and cleanliness are very important. This property provided both. Check in was easy and fast. Walking trail nearby for morning exercise. Decent breakfast. Close to multiple restaurants. Over all, good stay
