The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. The sheets smelled like it hasn’t been changed in a while. Very disappointing

Terrible experience. Don’t stay at this hotel. Very noisy and very thin walls. The heat/ air sounded like a jet plane taking off.

We were in town for a college visit. Hotel was super charming and in a great location. It was very cold outside (teens) and our room (corner room) was so incredibly cold. Heater was set to 85 and although you could feel warm air, it did not warm the room. We asked the front desk and were told all rooms were that cold being a historical building. They did give us extra blankets. I would stay here again, but not if it is cold outside. Room was very uncomfortable to sleep in due to the temperature.

Great place to stay very clean and quiet! Nice bed and bathroom, staff is great they have a fun little bar and bartender onsite. Right across the street is Iron horse which has amazing beers /cocktails and amazing food / burgers. Convenient and nice place to stay when visiting or dropping you kids off at college !

Good value! Beautiful boutique hotel with great rooms. Bar downstairs is cozy, and the drinks and staff are fantastic. This is my second stay at Hotel Morgan, and I will book again.

Chose the Morgan because we got a fabulous price, but the hotel was rated higher than some that cost nearly twice as much — and lived up to its reputation. Room was spacious and well-appointed and all staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient. We’ll be back!

On the surface it's a cute boutique hotel, but once you open the door to your room it's....pretty much a motel. Always hoping for a cute find on our road trip, but alas another dud! The downstairs decor and vibe is charming but misleading. There's no valet, and no one greeted us when we pulled up. They are quite inattentive-the guy at check in was nice but I was clearly struggling with bags, and he didn't even offer to help...? Same w girl on way out... Obviously I was not thinking this would be amazing, but expected cuter or at the very least CLEANER based on their branding. Terrible layout, drab and unstylish save for a square of wallpaper against a closet. Colorless, bare walls, no rug. Cannot emphasize enough how NOT cute it is. Linens are badly folded and wrinkled, comforter is thin, soap/amenities are half full, pillows are lumpy, bathroom door is gross, air conditioner is gross, generally it's worn down and dusty. I'm a little afraid of...bugs...and intruders cause there's no bolt on the door. Thankfully it's just one night. One point cause the shower was decent! Highly recommend they up their cleaning (dust plz), decorating (at least a picture on the wall and a colorful rug), and service (greet and help) game in the rooms rather than pouring any more energy into the lobby.

WONDERFUL Hotel! Not only was this hotel located in the beautiful historic downtown Morgantown, but the building itself was outstanding. The design was thoughtful and added to the historic charm with all the perks of modern amenities. Clean rooms and friendly staff. 10-stars

Where to start? This hotel is an absolute mess. At check in we told the desk staff we need a luggage cart. They said they were looking for one, but none appeared. Finally, another guest on the way out had one which we managed to get. We told the staff our car was outside and that there was no valet outside. Again, acknowledged but nothing happened for a while. Finally, one showed up. It appears the valets are not hotel employees but part of an outside valet service, so not on site. Apparently only one working ice machine in the whole hotel, so guests are forced to go from floor to floor seeking one that works. The stairway between floors is so filthy that you end up with dust all over your clothes. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers are all so nearly empty that you can’t get anything out of them. Absolutely no one at this hotel is paying attention to details or even basic maintenance issues. And finally, the bartender in the lobby bar has yet to discover the joys of showering and using deodorant. Why on earth would a hotel employee in a front line position interacting with guests not be counseled to do something about offensive body odor?!
