Staff were fantastic and very friendly. Accommodating of our late night arrival… the AC unit in our room made some pretty awful noises all night, making sleep very hard. It’s Texas, so roaches are always a factor, but we found a little too much evidence for our comfort level in the room we were given. Bathroom was newly renovated though!

酒店回复: Thanks for staying with us. I apologize that there was smoking odor in your room as our whole facility is non-smoking. Apparently someone did that without permission or us knowing. I will get maintenance on that door immediately to get that issue corrected. As far as pricing goes, we stay well within the price range of the other hotels in town and feel like we are more than far with everything we offer including a hot breakfast which a lot of our competitors do not offer. Room smelled musty, sketchy guys in parking lot drinking in car, called ahead to make sure pool and hot tub worked and was told yes only to arrive and no, it’s broken

However the hot tub is in order and working. The gentlemen staying at the property are a work crew who has given us zero trouble & have been staying with us since early 2025. I’m sorry if they made you feel uneasy. I’m sure that was not their intention in any way. I will get maintenance and hk on that smell and get it taken care of. Again, we truly appreciate your business and hope to have another opportunity to serve you. Thank you.

My friends credit card was charged twice for a room I didnt even stay in. Hotel sent me a text message that I didnt get until Monday night at 11:30 pm that credit card could not be used because it was n t in my name. And also charged me a pet fee I didnt use either. I need full refund for ALL charges! I have text message from hotel also.

酒店回复: Hi! I apologize that due to security reasons, the card wasn’t accepted directly at the property. However, that same card was on the 3rd party reservation and charged only for the stay and not the pet fee! You might want to contact your friend as we talked to him yesterday and also refunded his card for the stay since your name was not on the credit card used to hold the room. Security measures have really tightened due to so many fraudulent charges and us not allowing usage with a prior authorization is our way of helping our guests to avoid credit card scams. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused but stand firm with credit card companies in our fight to prevent any fraud that may occur. Thank you!

This hotel offers a great value: clean rooms, pet friendly and good price. The only complaint is that our room key stopped working at 10 am even though check out is 11 am. My husband and I took turns going to the front desk to get a new key (3 times!) and the front desk person finally came to let us into our room because none of the keys would work. It was a very hot day so we were all sweaty by the time we could get back in to finish getting our things and our 2 dogs. This is not the first time this has happened at the same hotel in Childress, TX.

酒店回复: I do apologize about the key card issue at 10 am. Our key card program’s time is not the same as our local time and therefore does cause a few issues. I am working on trying to get the times to match but have been unsuccessful so far. The clerk was in error as she just needed to change the date of your departure in the keycard system to correct it. I will remind her of this. Again, I apologize and thank you for your business.

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Got in late 8/31/25 and if we weren’t so tired and has already unpacked the vehicle, we would have turned right around and went somewhere else. Urine on the side of the toilet, crickets and beetles all throughout the room, cigarette burns on the side of the bathtub, someone else’s hair on the bedding, and the door to the bathroom hits the toilet every time you try to open and/or close it. At least it was quiet, I’ll give it that much.

We have had a lot more moisture than our area is use to and unfortunately that has brought out the crickets and beetles. I will communicate your concerns to our pest control guy when he gets here for our monthly upkeep. The burn mark on the tub was done by a guest and since we have new supplies including tubs for our renovation plans that will begin soon we haven’t gotten that corrected. I apologize. Toilets do shift and I hate to hear that yours was making contact with the door. Maintenance is on it now to fix. We value our guest opinions and thank you for letting us know about your stay. 酒店回复: Hi! I apologize your stay was anything less than exceptional. We do have a sign posted about upcoming renovations hence all of the covered supplies etc in the parking lot. I apologize about the dead crickets as we have had an unusual amount of rain and pest control did come this week for their monthly upkeep on the property which does cause the bugs to seek safety inside away from the stronger pesticide sprayed outside monthly. We do appreciate your business and thank you for being our guest.
