My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was truly one of our favorite Marriott experiences! The two-bedroom suites were incredibly spacious, and we loved the thoughtful layout — perfect for a large family like ours. The entire facility was spotlessly clean, including the gym and pool area, which we used daily. The location was ideal — just a short distance from the beach, grocery store, and outlet mall, making everything so convenient for our stay. What really stood out the most, though, was the exceptional staff. Everyone we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. It was clear they truly wanted our family to have the best experience possible. We especially appreciated being able to gather in the lobby area to play games and spend time together — it felt like home. A very special thank-you to Elijah, who exemplified outstanding customer service. His warmth, professionalism, and care made a lasting impression on us. As a lifetime Marriott member, I can confidently say that this stay ranks among the very best. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Very impressed with this place. Just wish it had better water pressure. Everyone was nice. Just wished it had more drawer space.. only 3 very small drawers in the closet and not wnough hangers for everything

I experienced an amazing stay in a gorgeous room. Absolutely loved my experience, from being welcomed at check-in, to a very clean and lovingly made up room, walking distance to the beach and outlet in under 10 minutes, and a very friendly checkout. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The check in was super easy very friendly front desk clerk. The room was spotless and very well appointed. The bed was super comfy with lots of pillow options. The shower had a real liner, great water pressure and really nice shampoo conditioner and body wash. The complimentary breakfast Was really good with lots of fruit, yogurt, oatmeal and good eggs lots of drink options including little bottle of chocolate milk. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come Back!!

The room was spotless…the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast could have been a little more exciting. We would definitely be back again.

We were among the first guests after this location’s renovation and re-opening and wanted to share a detailed review for future travelers. Hotel Spaces: 5/5 Everything has been updated with a fresh, modern look. The spacious lobby offers plenty of hangout areas, clean hallways/elevators, a market near the front desk, and water-bottle refill stations on every floor. Gym: 5/5 Surprisingly well-equipped: multiple cardio machines (bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, stairclimbers), two benches, dumbbells (5–50 lbs), and even a lat pulldown machine. Added perks include two large TVs, plug-in headphones, fresh towels, and sanitizing wipes. Pool: 4/5 Decent-sized (possibly saltwater?) pool with loungers in an extended shallow area and some seating. Limited chairs and only one umbrella table. Music played through four large speakers was a bit loud in my opinion. Breakfast: 2–3/5 This was the weakest point. As vegetarians, hot options were very limited—only egg/bacon dishes our first day. Later days had plain scrambled eggs, but fruit was only apples. Bagels were basic, no waffle maker (just pre-made waffles one day, overcooked). Standard yogurts, cereals, oatmeal, juice, and coffee were available. Room: 4/5 Rooms matched modern Towneplace standards: spacious, with USB/USB-C charging, TV streaming, and a small kitchen with soap, sponge, and dishwasher tabs. Downsides: no in-room silverware, plates, or bowls (though available at breakfast area), not the strongest shower pressure, reversed hot/cold controls, and sheets felt a bit stiff. Location: 5/5 Excellent—just a 5–7 minute walk to public white sand beaches and clear blue waters. Positioned near a main intersection at the edge of Miramar and Sandestin, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and sidewalks for morning walks or jogs. Overall: 4/5 Despite the few downsides, we were very happy with our stay. Staff were excellent and friendly, the facilities modern, and the location hard to beat. We would gladly stay here again.
