Hotel is very old and needs to be renovated. The main issue was the air conditioning unit; it was frozen. It was unable to cool the room. The only recommendation was a 10% credit or a room change; I chose the 10% credit.

We had never been to Danville. The only comment I would make is the staff at the front desk was not knowledgeable about the area. We asked for dinner recommendations in the downtown area and they couldn't help us. We used Google but it would've been nice to have a local recommendation.

The staff were very accommodating when we had to change rooms. The staff member who worked the kitchen during breakfast was so friendly, and she was very helpful during our breakfast time.

The staff were exceptional! They were so friendly and helpful. Janet, breakfast attendant was the best. Even the other guests knew her by name. Thank you for being so kind!

First floor room was musty smelling and shower curtain was on a straight rod instead of a curved hotel rod, otherwise all staff were very friendly and helpful and room was clean.
