I had a lot of issues with my room keys but the staff was always super helpful. Also the tv was very small. Overall it was just fine for what I needed and expected.

Would stay here again

Our bathroom had a very strong smell of cigarettes on Sunday morning. We were worried at first fearing possible fire. This was mentioned when we checked out.

Pros:

- Pool area/ slide was a nice touch. Hot tub area is large and can accommodate decent amount of people

- Breakfast is decent compared to many similar hotel chains that offer complementary breakfast

Cons:

- To start off with, we are stuck in a basement room which was a little dingy with little sunlight. When we booked, the stock photo for the room has a fireplace, our room did not come with one

- Bathroom does not have a curtain. Everytime we showered, the bathroom flooded

- Wifi was very slow or nonexistent, likely because we are at the lowest level

- Room service is every 3 days. We put in a request for fresh towels and garbage disposal, and they missed it, so we had to call the front desk to get that in

First night was like warm water to shower, beds are hard, not comfortable at all! Unable to watch TV as it was out, internet was sketchy. For $250/ night I would EXPECT these things to be all in working/comfort condition.

Pool was salt water, clean, and fun! Wasn’t crowded when we went. The water slide was even fun for the adults! Room was roomy. Shower pressure was great. Employees were all friendly and helpful!

My husband and I reserved this hotel to stay for a weekend getaway. We arrived early (1:50 p.m.) and was told the hotel was at capacity and our room may not be ready but they would check on our room as we were told. The front desk agent went up the stairs to check and said it would be closer to the check in time at 3. That was fine. We sat in the lobby and watched maybe 10 get checked in and go to their rooms with little to no wait. When 3 o'clock comes I get back in line and was told our room just became available and it was downstairs on the first floor. I thought it was strange that initially the front desk agent went upstairs to check on our room then we get assigned a room on the 1st floor that was right next to the pool and across from the game room and vending machines and ice maker. A very noisy and busy location. I was very irritated and felt we were lied to. That location of our room was horrible but I didn't want to make matters worse so we just dealt with it. It was a handicap accessible room and we felt bad because we sat and saw seniors being checked in and may have appreciated a handicap accessible room. There was mold and the carpet was sticky it, there were stains on the sheet (it was clean but stained). It definitely didn't look like it was a recently cleaned room. I would not stay at that property again even though the location was perfect.
