The staff was very polite and the property was clean. But the tubs were stained and whatever they used to clean the floors left them slippery and sticky and would leave a residue on the bottom of your socks and barefeet.

For the price I was a bit surprised at how run down and dirty it was. The staff was very nice but it baffles me how so many hotels in Lynchburg live off parents and charge exorbitant prices for subpar/ beat up accommodations. With the extra money you think they would spruce the place up. Our bedding was dirty and I had to get new blankets and there was a dead cockroach on the floor. I asked them to clean the room but they did not sweep up the bugs or change the bed. So I had the after hours attendant get me a new blanket. Another attendant got me a fan since the air conditioning was not working properly, but they fixed that. In all the staff was very nice but the place was like a 1980’s motel 6, with Hilton prices.

Lost our money. Too disgusting to stay. We had nowhere else to stay but could not stay here. No air, cigarette burns in the sheets. Ashes everywhere. Earring and filth on the dresser. Horrible!

The rooms are “so so” quality at best. My wife called for extra pillows and we were told they ran out. The TV signal came is as “no signal” on every channel; until I learned that you have to leave it tuned to a channel for about 5 minutes for the signal to catch up and be watchable.

Property needs an update. Bed was dirty when we came. I think our room accidentally got missed. Had to change sheets and comforter because of hair, food and other substance on bed.

Service was friendly and responsive. Breaking was excellent. Room was comfortable, clean, good working condition, and we had no issues with noise. Note to bring your own conditioner as shampoo only is provided in the shower. Although rooms haven’t been recently updated (and bathroom showed some wear), they are attractively furnished with quality linens and great adjustable shower head, instant hot water, comfortable bed.
