We checked in via FaceTime/computer and did not interact with staff. Because it was Liberty Univ. parents weekend we paid $300 for a room that was very simple so I’m sure the price was jacked up. There was no continental breakfast (as per info provided). I paid a similar price at the Hampton Inn in prior years for more amenities.

I rated as fair due to lack of real people on site. The staff that I interacted with remotely were very helpful and courteous. This hotel was very close to the Lynchburg Baseball Stadium, which is why I was staying in Lynchburg. The door to lobby was locked when I arrived so I followed instructions to pick up red phone and wait for someone to answer. I tried 3 times and each time got a recorded message that there was no one available at the extension. Finally a person's image popped up on the check in screen, which I could see from the door. I could hear that she was saying something. Then the door lock clicked and I could get inside to actually check in via video screen. The connection was poor and I had difficulty understanding the person. But, it all worked out. Just frustrating at night after 9:00 PM. Also, I requested an accommodation room and was assigned to one, but the only accommodation was one hand bar to use to step into the regular bath tub. No hand hand bar near the toilet. Recommend that more detail be given regarding after 9:00 check-in, and a description of accommodation in handicapped room. Also, I would like to know if anyone is onsite overnight. I've never stayed in a hotel where there was no real person on site to check me in, even after hours. The only options at the free breakfast was carbohydrates, but there was a good selection of breads and cereals.

We stayed here for Liberty University graduation and had a good stay. The only negative comments I have are: We were told check in was at 3:00. No problem with that, but it was about 5:30 and we were out having dinner when someone from the hotel called asking where we were and when we planned on getting to the hotel. Found that a bit odd. When we did check in there was a girl working the counter and she was great. However, it looks like most check in's and check out's are done while using a video conference with someone. The breakfast room is a bit small but the food was good. Lastly, when we did check out it looked like the owner or manager stood around watching everything which was a bit creepy. I you are going to graduation at Liberty I would suggest this hotel. Just book early for the best rates.

Very Clean - easy access off 29 Business N and S. My only complaint is tv is still analog - picture is fuzzy - need upgrade to HD. Would stay there again for convenience, cleanliness and cost. Breakfast is waffles, cereal, packaged muffins - normal small motel breakfast

It was a very nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Drink machines and ice are easily accessible. Plenty of places around like stores and places to eat close by. Was very updated. They called instead of knocking for housekeeping which I loved. Would definitely recommend and would visit again.

The stink bugs seem to enjoy their stay here. The door has a big gap on the side and bottom so doesn’t appear to be completely closed even though it is locked. Breakfast is the worse ever. The eggs are slimy, inedible. There were stale biscuits, and a waffle maker, and oatmeal. The front office didn’t even acknowledge our group of 12 when we came in for breakfast. They didn’t provide enough towels and wash cloths for the amount of people staying in the room. This hotel is not worth the price. Spend a little more and enjoy your stay elsewhere.
