Weather and power outages are not something we can control, so generally speaking we don't provide compensation or refunds due to external events. To your point, the power was back on that evening after being out about 4 hours. We do allow guests to depart early or cancel without a penalty when circumstances are beyond our control, but we do not provide compensation if you decide to stay.I am sorry we couldn't meet that expectation, and I hope your son is on the mend or healthy.

I rented a room with 2 queen beds and a sleeper couch. I found the sleeper couch was a joke. It is a trundle bed design, where the bed area pulls out and is only about 6 inches off the floor, uncomfortable, and only a bed for a young child. I ended up sleeping on the couch itself, not the trundle. The hotel's description should be updated to clearly state that this is a kid's bed, not one for an adult. And to add to this bad situation, you need to make-up the bed yourself with bedding found in a plastic bag in the closet. All together, this "third" be in our room was a joke -- count on it only if you have very young children!

Hotel was clean and we were able to get extra towels and blankets. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The daybed/couch bed was a bonus because it was an actual comfortable extra bed. The pull out trundle was a hard, cheap mattress. We dealt with a very noisy neighbor in the next room having a party. Loud booming music, kids jumping on beds, knocking on walls, running up and down the halls. I don’t think this was handled well by the staff. Nothing was done until after 10pm when we finally started pounding back. The rudeness of the other guests was completely out of line. I feel like we should have either been moved to another room or they should have been removed from the hotel.

Arrived after 7hr drive. Waited a few minutes for desk person to come out. Not very friendly and seemed he didn’t want to be there. Room air unit did not shut offf even when turned off. Room was big and everything worked. Breakfast was ok with usual imitation eggs, but a good variety of other things.
