Pretty clean, no bugs. The sheets had a boot shaped stain on one side but I think they had been laundered.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful when I lost my room key. A little noisy because of the road nearby, but otherwise quiet.

It's what you would expect of a "modest" lodging.

This was my second stay in a month and this one was much better than the last. This time there was no smell of smoke and the toilet worked. It’s an economy motel for sure but I love the flexibility of a refundable room.

Fix the toilet. And was that nonsmoking??!!

Requested a non-smoking room and it smelled terrible. I thought someone had probably recently smoked in there until I was in the bathroom and it started smelling as if someone was in there smoking with me. So I guess maybe the ventilation between rooms is just that bad.

And the toilet wouldn’t flush. I suspected something was up when the gal at the front told me at least twice as we were checking in “if there’s anything wrong with it I can move you but it will have to be upstairs.” I’m mobility impaired so I avoid stairs when possible. After she said ur twice I asked if something was wrong with the room and she said no. But I still wonder.

We arrived into town late-ish and had somewhere to go. I didn’t want to mess with moving so it’s on me because they did offer. But still. Don’t say it’s non smoking when it smells that bad and for goodness sake make all your toilets work.
