Here’s the thing about this hotel. Driving up, it looks ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Clearly the place is under construction and there’s nothing neat or tidy about the renovation. Construction material everywhere, plastic on widows, upon driving up there are serious doubts that the place is open. I imagine they’re just filling in the remodeled rooms. Now the room itself, I’ll give it credit. Just about everything in the room looked and felt new. The beds were great, the flooring was new, and the room felt new. With the exception of bathroom. The bathroom vanity looked new but the bathtub itself was rusted from dripping water. Not sure why you’d go through the trouble of remodeling the room and leave a crappy bathtub but there it was. The bathtub was my only room complaint but I took a shower anyway. The room has a very nice frig and microwave. What it didn’t have was a clock or a hair blow dryer. The air conditioner was old but it worked fine. They do not have a working elevator which is difficult for older guests. Keep your expectations very low for the complementary breakfast, but they had coffee… at least there’s coffee. Would I recommend this hotel? Recommend is a strong word, but the honest truth was the room was the best of the three hotels my family stayed in during our trip. I was a little worried about homeless - from reading other reviews. Homeless around the hotel wasn’t an issue.

Worst people you could imagine ... very arrogant .. literally at 2 am .... attendant had us book online... Then told us ..we had to pay additional 50.00 bucks ..plus 100.00 deposit..on top of 65.00 bucks online .. then said ...we couldn't get the key until 3pm... so 115.00 bucks ... for a night .. that we wouldn't be able to check in until 3 pm ..please make that make sense ...

So disgusting! Don't bother! I'm by no means a princess and I can put up with a lot but I only managed about 30 minutes in this nightmare. When I decided to leave, I waited for almost 30 minutes behind another customer trying to check in (poor soul) because the man at the desk was completely inept; I finally just threw my key cards on the desk and told them I was leaving because it was so disgusting. When I called Choice Hotels and emailed them, they told me I couldn't get a refund, despite the peeling paint, dead bug in the uncleaned tub, and the fact that the whole building smells like cigarettes trying to be covered up by cheap perfume. Seriously, don't be lured by the price, this isn't even a case of "you get what you pay for", this is so much worse! I stay at a lot of Choice Hotels and have spent a ton of money with them and couldn't believe they wouldn't make this right. I ended up having to pay for 2 different hotels for the same trip because there was absolutely no way I was staying there. Just run as far away as you can from this dump and maybe avoid Choice in general based on their terrible customer service.

It's my fault I was in a rush and DIDN'T read the reviews. Someone said it for me this place should be condemned, the pictures are false they don't even have a waffle maker and the cereal apparatus was broken. The sheets were clean and the pillows were soft but EVERYTHING else in all the other bad reviews were TRUE.

The several mice that visited us are definitely a huge factor as to why I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come within 100ft of this place. There were roaches in BOTH of our rooms, since we were moved because we saw a mouse in the first one. We saw three more in our second room. There were also roaches, the fridges didn’t work and there are cigarette butts behind the dressers. The whole place had a weird stench that got stronger in some rooms. Never again. Oh, and the staff and management are 100% aware of these things, and do not care AT ALL.
