We have had the a/c and the elevator serviced recently.Due to the age of the building and the original design there were never any stairs leading to the ground floor, all stairs led to outside. When the building was converted from a department store and offices in 2001 the engineers on the project could not put stairs in with compromising the integrity of the building.

Room was clean, but disappointed we had no hot water and had to take cold showers in the evening.

Rooms did not get cleaned as defined. Also we got charged twice for room and still tying to get a refund since over two weeks

We stayed in the loft room and it was great! Right downtown, free parking right out the back and the staff is super nice. I would definitely go back!

Overall a nice stay in Keene
We had a good stay overall. The hotel is lovely and located in the heart of the town of Keene.
The loft room was comfortable and worked great for 3 people.
Only complaint is the air conditioner was extremely loud. I had to purchse better ear plugs in order to sleep.
Free breakfast was very good with good choices available each day.
Only other issue I had is the entrance of hotel is Main Street with stairs so recommend you call hotel on arrival and have receptionist meet you at (locked)back door where there is a ramp making it easier to carry luggage. Free parking is a short distance away in public parking lot.

Mike at the front desk was fantastic. Great customer service, very helpful. Otherwise everything was just fine except for breakfast which was pretty unappetizing.
