My second stay at this hotel was also my last. I like the location and that's it. No coffee machines in the rooms, so if you want coffee you're limited to the 'instant hot water coffee' (not brewed) in the lobby that probably shouldn't be leaglly referred to as a breakfast bar. Small packs of muffins, stale ganola bars and instant coffee are not breakfast. However, the service this visit prompted my review. After checking out and driving back to Wichita, the desk clerk called to inform me I'd accidently left a Sam's Club membership card on the counter. Because I wasn't driving and we were well on the road home, I asked if they could please mail it to me....and I would gladly pay for the cost. Didn't happen.....I was told to call back because she could do nothing to help. After arriving home I made a second effort and was informed it was not possible; they do NOT EVER handle mail. Really? At any other hotel chain or mom&pop this would be a common courtesy...and I doubt if I would have been charged for postage. I do not believe they were truthfult. I could have found a better excuse.... I have traveled a lot and there are too many good hotel operations that would have not thought twice about returning a simple card. For this reason do not deserve your business. Scott Sykes

We stayed at this hotel while on business in Kansas city. The hotel was clean, quiet (hotel policy is nightly "quiet time" and zero tolerand nce for room parties) and central to the brookside nei aghborhood. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A young staffer named Marlene helped me check in early, annd d got me dishes and kitchen appliances walking these items up to my room within a afew minutes of my request. The whole staff was helpful

Expected quality for cost. Our “studio king” room was larger than expected, with an entire kitchenette area—pleasant surprise. There was leftover food in the fridge which made us question cleanliness a bit, but no other obvious issues. Would book again for an overnight stay. My husband commented would book overnight before a game, as we travel from Iowa. Nothing fancy, but comfortable!

Didn't actually stay there because they called me 4 days before I was supposed to arrive to tell me they were cancelling the room I had booked and paid for. They said they had a large party that needed to extend their stay another day.
