The stay was okay. The room was clean at first till my family, friends and I took our shoes off and noticed the floor was wet and our feet turned black instantly. My mother went down to ther service desk to get towels to clean the floor that was damped. The air conditioner and the lamps were unplugged which we had to plug it back in. We booked two queen bed room which we asked for extra towels at the front desk but the clerk said that they did not have any clean nor extra clean towels. The parking was semi-full due to the people who were living in their cars yet appeared that they were not booking a room or staying in the hotel.

We arrived to no one at the front desk. We waited over an hour and a half while Danny(great guy) the security guard tried to find someone. The person had left. We had to wait until 11pm when the next front desk person arrived and checked 6 different coupes in. We then went to our room only to walk in and find someone else there. Scared the crap out of us and could have been unsafe and escalated among all parties. We were given another room but it was not cleaned so we had to wait. Also people sleeping in the stairwells. The next morning we inquired why this happened but also an inquiry why we were double charged. They said they did not see in their end even after showing the charges on my card. The front desk person then proceeded to tell my wife to calm down. Anyone knows you do not use “calm down” with any women. It did not land well with me talking to my wife in this manner and everything escalated.

Making sure I had a room close to the exit and stairs made all the difference for me. I have 2 large dogs and we never ran into any issues using that exit.

I travel for a living. My territory is Canada, The US, Central, South America and the Caribbean and this was by far the most disgusting place I have stayed. I worked all day and finally checked in. Requested an upstairs room which they warned had a possibly defective light switch. I Figured I can work around that since they mentioned you may have to flip it on an off a few times. I went into the room, and the light switch worked without issues. I rolled open the curtain and the window was broken with exposed shards of glass. It was double pane, not a showstopper as I would only be there a couple days. Later I went to wash my hands, and the sink would not drain, water would just sit there. I turned on the remaining lights in the room and the light to the right side of the bed flashed on and off like a strobe light. By now it was 11:30 PM and I had completed the reports I had to send off. I got ready to jump into bed and when I rolled the sheets down, it appeared someone had puked on the sheets. Totally disgusting. I decided to sleep on the sofa and evacuate this hotel in the morning. Checked out and moved to a better location. You would think that the maids who cleaned the room would have reported this, or that maintenance would have taken care of these issues, but not offer someone, anyone, a room in that condition. This had the appearance of a transient hotel. Glad I checked out and will never look at Red Roof the same again. Awful!

Overall a good experience. Everything worked as it should. The room was clean and tidy. Only complaints are the elevator which takes forever to get to the second floor (I think it goes to the third floor before the second from the ground floor - very aggravating). The second is the smell of ********* from the moment that you walk into the door, in the hallways, even deeper into mine and my sisters room to the point that we had to crack the window. I'd rather smell cigarettes than pot.. it's disgusting. Why do pot smokers get such privilege when cigarette smokers do not? Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Oh coffee maker in the room, but no coffee??? That's just weird.

We had no remote for Tv. When asked at front desk, they could only find a Samsung remote, we had an LG. No working phone, no hairdryer. No soap in shower, missing electrical plate on an outlet. Appeared to be mold on ceiling of shower. Curtain falling down on one side. Only chair was in very poor condition,
Only positive thing is it was quite at night, & bed was fairly comfortable

We checked in at 11pm , the security guard who was really nice told us that the room we were getting just had a bunch of kids thrown out of it and that the TV was ripped out of the wall and if we needed him or the other guy to.come up and grt it working just to let him know. It was late we were tired.and didnt need to watch TV. I think its funny that I was charged a $100 deposit for a room that was already damaged.. The bed felt like I was sleeping on springs. The room smelled horrible. Never again will I stay at a Red Roof Inn

If you are looking for a comfortable bed, this hotel might be right for you. Don't expect more. Upon entering the room, we found a hair ball in the bed. There's no coffee maker in the room and no hot breakfast as advertised. When I mentioned this to the check-out clerk, she smiled and said I could mention this to the manager when she arrives mid morning. We will not be returning to this hotel.
