Very small rooms. It’s a very dark place. Beware if you stay less than seven days there is a 108.00 cleaning fee. The room is minuscule so not sure why so much. We left early. Didn’t even stay the whole time. Decided to drive home. The area is very pretty but outside of shops and a few houses your done. The studio has no real room to cook and the bed taupes up most of the room. Big disappointment.

We found this resort to be so perfect for our annual friends getaway. Everour unit was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed. Not far from shopping in Galena! Staff was very friendly & helpful. We highly recommend this resort!!

Staff were mostly very friendly and helpful, studio was clean, pool and hot tub were functioning, furnishings were ok. Would never get a studio here again though. small Queen bed, no W/D, very small kitchen area (as noted tho), no real freezer area for ice cubes and never any ice cubes in the building ice machine, thin walls, no opp to upgrade to a 1 or 2 bedroom (as in many other RCI resorts.) If you're a Galena fan and will eat out most of the time it still might work well for you. We enjoyed exploring neighboring towns (with more reasonable dining prices) and hikes along the Miss. and area forests.

The world mark in Galena, Illinois is a lovely resort. The studio unit had everything that we needed to enjoy a wonderful week. The resort is clean and well maintained with activities such as movie night and game night. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the guest were friendly as well. The resort is located within minutes of so many restaurants and shops and golf courses and other outdoor activities and wineries. We’ve even talked about returning to Galena in the future

This is a very nice and well maintained property. The location is a bit out of town, but in a quiet location, and we were able to find plenty of things to do in the area.

My #1 problem is that the name WorldMark was not above the entrance door. -- I arrived late at night 10pm and I thought I had stopped at the wrong place. I was about to drive out, and made a circle around the parking lot and saw a World Mark sign in the field. All of my printed reservation papers said "WorldMark Galena". It did not say Longhollow resort (which is the name of the street that it is on). === I ended up with a "studio" and it was spacious and had everything I needed. BUT when I put the toaster and the coffee maker on the 'kitchen counter' there was no room to do anything else... except a cup and a small plate barely. ==== the lobby had a very tall ceiling and looked like a modern hunting lodge, which was very nice. and the pool and gym looked very nice. ==== there werent really any activities, they said there as stuff to do in town in summer, but they had a LOT of printed sheets of papers of "things to do" in town. === it had a giant jacuzzi tub, which I thought was a bit odd for a studio apt. / the bedding was good and thick towels. Nice view of the thick surrounding trees. Nice little balcony. ==== it seemed like every day or night there was a different person at the front desk. They didn't offer lots of info (eg at check in); but, during my visit, IF I ASKED they were good about answering questions. They were friendly. === it's very close to a big golf course, and a few short miles from the amazing historic town of Galena. A very beautiful landscape between the towns.
