They could not find my reservation so we had to downgrade. They only had biscuits and gravy, apples, and waffles. The rooms are outdated. Shower curtain and bar in shower not attached well.

Two mornings the gravy was so thin you could have used a straw! Wifi was non-existent in our room. One day I connected to Wifi in the lobby but when I returned to my room, Wifi dropped.

Stay Away !
The place is located in a good spot, but its old and dirty, the carpet looks like have not been washed in decades, the room smells, the fridge in our room has not been clean or open and had mold and smell so bad, we did not use it and inform the front desk and nothing happen. The Wi-Fi never work, the breakfast was so bad, the mix for the waffles was so watery it did not even cook right LOL! so were the grits, yiak! Stay away, or if you don't mind, go, because its cheap.

Our room was not clean by check in time and we couldn’t check in until an hour and a half later. Our room smells like **** and there was a huge fight and the cops were called during our stay.

Staff was nice and helpful. Clearly Understaffed- rooms were dirty even after said they were cleaned, no towels. Air conditioner unit and carpet under it was moldy. TV/cable did not work, maint came and did not fix it. We had to fix it ourselves. They did move us to another room that was “cleaner”, but far from clean. Sheets stained and floors turned my socks black! The broken sign said “Southern Oaks Inn” with a flag under it as “Howard Johnson by Wyndham”. This place was clearly bought out by Howard Johnson by Wyndham but not renovated to be up to the Howard Johnson by Wyndham standards I expected. All I can say is you get what you paid for. I thought I was getting a steal of a deal going at an end of tourist season. To good to be true, I was fooled.

The property is outdated and dirty. There was visible dirt on floors and hair in bathroom that clearly did not belong to our party. There were gaps between the air conditioner and sliding door. The sliding door did not lock. There was a spot light right outside our room. Curtains had to be rehung mulitple times that night. We had to sleep on a blanket from home due to getting bit by something. We ended up leaving next day by early check out and had to fight for our refund. Rudest front desk that we have EVER encountered.

汽车喇叭声震耳欲聋。有一天晚上，警察来敲门。这里更像是一家有人居住的酒店。我们要求多拿几条毛巾，他们让我们把毛巾放在外面，说会给我们换。结果他们没换，我们只好自己去要，而且只换了两条。房间里总是弥漫着一股刺鼻的气味，盖过了其他所有味道。房间大小很合适，工作人员也很友好。泳池水很冷，孩子们根本游不了泳。
