As other reviewers have noted, this place is a disaster. When we got to our room there were insects flying around inside - fleas or something. Sticky substance on the dresser, stained towels. The bathroom had an overpowering smell of disinfectant - like they were trying to cover something up. I had made the reservation in May for FSU family weekend in September. It was very difficult to find anything that weekend, so we picked this. After being in this room for a few minutes we just could not do this. Fortunately (?) the FSU football team was doing so badly that additional hotels opened up, so we found a nice clean one up the street on the other side of the highway. We went in to cancel our stay; they said they would refund within 3-5 business days. When the credit card bill came, there was no refund. Attempted to contact the motel directly, but no answer and the mailbox was full. Opened a dispute with the credit card company. Wyndham, this is a terrible reflection on your company. You should disassociate yourself from this location. Almost all of the reviews are either a 1/5 or 5/5. Some of the 5/5's talk about the 'lovely sitting area' - it's a table and chair in the room. Who calls that a sitting area? The fact that multiple reviews say that indicate that those are just false reviews. Take the 1/5 reviews seriously.

Shocking experience. Filthy and dirty. Reception was just clueless.Very bad in all respects. It should not be operating as a hotel. The room was very dirty . Total demolition and rebuild. It should not be operating as a motel. The bathroom was extremely unpleasant.

Don't let the pictures of the rooms on the Wyndham website or app fool you. These rooms look nothing like that. The whole experience was horrible. We had 3 different rooms for various reasons. Two of the rooms were filthy. One room didn't have hot water. In another room there was no wifi service. Two of the rooms didn't have soap/shampoo and towels. Other issues included: a clogged toilet with rancid urine in it, dirty prior quest's socks left in one of the rooms, and an AC unit with no nobs or legible adjustment settings.

Amazing place and quality of service is so good it’s my first time and I had a pleasant time!. Our room was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the sitting rooms offered a perfect blend of beauty and comfort. Would go above and beyond!! Thank you for everything

My husband and I had spent two nights at the Howard Johnson Inn. What a fabulous place to stay! Our room was spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway. Thank you team for your wonderful hospitality!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Our room was ravaged with a mold smell, filthy, and the walls hat patchwork holes and peeling paint. The room next to us didn't even have a doorknob and was open. People hanging out in the parking lot doing suspicious activity. This location didn't feel safe at all. Plus, the hotel DOUBLE CHARGED me!! I contacted the hotel and they assured me I would be refunded the extra charge. There is a reddit account on this hotel and multiple reviews on various websites stating this hotel will continue to try and charge people multiple times a month or once a month, etc. I will be watching my account closely. DO NOT EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL! It should be condemned!!!

What a lovely stay at the Howard Johnson Inn. The entire experience was comfortable and amazing. This was our third visit, and we will definitely return again. Our room had everything we needed, and the ambience of the sitting rooms was both beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommended for a delightful and cozy stay!
