The staff was the highlight, being so incredibly nice and helpful, offering information and access to extra pillows and utensils when asked. The pool was a bit cold and cloudy but it was still nice. Breakfast options were decent too. Room was decently clean in exception to a dirty towel in the bathroom. Definitely not a bad stay for the price, you get what you paid for.

I was not happy with our overall stay. First off we did not have a remote for our room. I went to the desk twice and the young gentleman working tried to help and offered two different remotes that ended up not working for our tv. He did text the manager to find out where other remotes were but I don’t know if he got a reply. I told him we would just use the buttons on the tv. Also even though it was a non smoking hotel someone did smoke either in the hall right outside our room or next door. Our room smelled most of the night after. We did have a lot of noise from the people above us which sounded like they were stomping around. I have never left a review like this before.

Checked in 20 mins early at the front desks offer and was charged 25$ for it without mention or I would have just waited. A little frustrating but stay was wonderful.

Was ok until the Hockey tournament group checked in Friday afternoon/evening. The group wasn't very considerate of other guests. The parents were letting the kids run rampant through the halls carrying on and playing 'hockey' in the late evening hours as well as hollering (parents were outside talking loudly and laughing) while other guest were trying to sleep.

The bed and pillows were good!
The A/C did not work properly; there were no electrical outlets on either side of the bed; the furnishings were rundown; the bathroom vent did not operate.

Decent Stay but Issues were had
The hotel was nice. We had problems with the keys not opening the doors. The coffee in the hallway was not very hot. There was not access to ice in the breakfast area in the morning. The juice was either too strong or too weak, no in between. Breakfast on the first day, Friday - was wonderful. Then the Saturday and Sunday were exactly the same, and extremely heavy Sausage and Biscuits. Would have liked to repeat the breakfast from Friday, on Sunday. Instead of having the same breakfast twice in a row. The bathrooms need some updating. Exposed caulking and messy patch work in the shower. No where to place soap or shampoo, but one tiny little shelf. When I checked in the window was open. Which was scary considering I was on the ground floor. One of our towels was dirty when we checked in. The second bed was also halfway off the frame and we had to have the front desk come fix it. The final issue we had was with the turn off to the hotel. Consider a new entrance.

The front desk clerk was quite rude. When we were checking in, I saw that LaQuinta was part of the Wyndham group. I said that I thought I was a member and asked how can I tell. His exact response was “Um, I don’t know. Look it up.” There was no offer to looo it up or to add my stay to my reward profile. Very disappointed in the service we received. We were on a 9 day trip that was completely unplanned and I refused to book at another La Quinta or Wyndham property. We chose Hilton for three of the nights, and a Best Western where we received excellent service and were greeted with friendly service. Our other days were booked through air bnb… had our first night of the trip gone any better, LaQuinta and Wyndham would have been our choice.
