This was our first stay at a MainStay Suites, and we'd try again if one is in an area where we traveled. The kitchenette was decently stocked with silverware and dinnerware for two, wine glasses for 2, and a small selection of pots and pans for cooking along with a 2 burner electric stove, full size fridge and a dishwasher. Sometimes we like to "cook in" when we're on a longer trip, and we did this twice in our 3-night stay. Albertsons grocery is within walking distance, next door, but there's also a deli and a pizza place nearby. The bed was comfortable. The AC/heater was a bit noisy but livable. We had an issue at check-out, however, when trying to load our vehicle, the room door locked us out. One of the front desk men had to come and give it a code, then we had to prop the room open long enough to get our stuff out of the room.

I did not like the fact that ******* REFUSED to acknowledge the fact 3 DAYS ago, that the reservation was cancelled, and claimed that the hotel decides to refund or not! This is a complete LIE! If a refund is not issued it is because ******* wants to keep the money!

They should be a little honest to say that they have not had hot water for more than a week. The staff in front is not friendly. You ask them a question and they reply that they know nothing. I spent a night without showering because I had no hot water and the answer was that we cannot do anything. Of course, I asked for my money back to go to another hotel.

Bed was hard and very uncomfortable, and the pillows were even worse. Continental breakfast was one of the worst i have ever seen... i would not stay here again.
I will say though that the staff was incredibly nice and helpful and was the only bright spot of the stay...

Boy has this place gone downhill. I used to stay here all the time for work. Came back for a quick business meeting and no AC in the halls, crappy AC in the rooms, and its looking run down.
