Positives: the staff was very friendly. They had the largest breakfast buffet I've ever seen with all the hot and cold options, including both waffle and pancake makers. The hotel is on a water inlet with boats which is nice. The swimming pool and patio is also very nice. There's a tiki bar outside on the premises too. My room seemed recently updated with new flooring and very large comfy bed and very large flat screen tv, the largest I've ever seen in a hotel. The general location was great, very close to the airport and between Sarasota and Bradenton, with both easily accessible.
The downside: The location is also on a major six lane road. So be warned, light sleepers: the rooms on the highway side are very noisy due to the trucks, motorcycles and bumping bass in cars that can be heard all night long. I had a hard time sleeping even with ear plugs, and ended up putting a pillow over my head. It became even noisier around 6-7am with morning traffic. Having the fan/AC on constantly helped a tiny bit but that creates it's own noise that can be bothersome.
In sum, it's a nice place to stay but if you need quiet and can afford the upcharge, be sure to book a water view room.

the room was very clean and my room was cleaned daily in a timely manner The full breakfast buffet was very good and had a lot of different choices which was very enjoyable. I liked the choice of theTiki restaurant to eat and have a glass of wine in the evening.The pool was heated and very clean so I can not say enough about the stay in Florida it was so wonderful.

房间不是很干净，但港口旁边的景色很美。不过，那里非常吵闹，既有飞机从头顶飞过的声音，也有其他客人（在房间和走廊里）的喧闹声。
