Motel 6 doesn't honor their FREE cancellation policy. They actually asked me to submit bank records proving I didn't get my return, even tho they admit their records show they didn't give me my money back. My "case" has been under review by their "team" for 13 days. This is nothing short of Deceptive Business Practices. Like others have said, spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

I needed floor on ground level and was put on the second. The stairs are rusted and in bad shape and a rusty piece went through my daughter’s shoe into her foot.
Room was ok, but really sketchy area.

This was a great stay for the money. The room was very clean, but the towels semed to be rather stiff as if the soap was not rinsed out. The night staff was very polite and friendly when I checked in, and when I had to get another keycard.

Upon arrival, I knew what I was getting into with the price tag but when I pre-pay for a room, I expect to just check in and go to my room. The front desk staff said I needed to pay $38 extra. I had to pull out my bank statement online, my confirmation receipt and everything showing that I already paid. He later talked himself down, saying that they would probably charge me later for the rest, even though I was already charged for the full amount. Seems a little sketchy and was very disappointed with the entire process.
