Loved the open shower & room setup. Was also nice to have the pool right next to the hot tub so we could just flop back and forth over the wall from hot tub to pool and back again. Continental breakfast was simple but good enough. Fresh made a waffle and there were a ton of topping choices. Bagels and cream cheese, yogurt, hard boiled egg, juice.

The checkin person was nice, but was quite disheveled- hair a mess and very dirty shirt. The room appeared clean but the shower had dirty shoe prints and the chairs were so stained and dirty that we covered in towels to sit on.

Our room was spacious and clean. We checked in and went to bed early. Since we had to be at Traverse City hospital at 6am we didn't get breakfast. I got coffee and it was good.

This area of town had a power outage, which we discovered upon arrival to the hotel. We were not able to check-in, nor were we able to stay. We had to book the night at another hotel. And then this property said they would not give any refunds, because it was not their fault.

Check in was very quick and easy.

Front desk staff Paul was very nice and helpful.

Our room was clean, lots of hot water for the shower. The bed was a little firm for me. We always bring our own pillows, but the room pillows did seem to be firm and lumpy.

Breakfast was good. Lots of hot coffee.

The hot tub was good. The pool was a bit on cool side for me. The pool area was noisy with children having fun and people talking, which was fine. Then a group of adults connected a phone to a speaker. I was able to soak in the hot tub for about 10 minutes, but the music was so loud, on top of children having fun and people trying to talking over the music that I left and went back to our room. Way to noisy for me.

Over all our stay was good, but I thought cost was pricey for a one night stay.
