This area of town had a power outage, which we discovered upon arrival to the hotel. We were not able to check-in, nor were we able to stay. We had to book the night at another hotel. And then this property said they would not give any refunds, because it was not their fault.

Room was OK. There was only one outlet by the bed. It was part of a lamp. The lamp on the other side was identical except for the lack of an outlet.

Check in was very quick and easy.
Front desk staff Paul was very nice and helpful.
Our room was clean, lots of hot water for the shower. The bed was a little firm for me. We always bring our own pillows, but the room pillows did seem to be firm and lumpy.
Breakfast was good. Lots of hot coffee.
The hot tub was good. The pool was a bit on cool side for me. The pool area was noisy with children having fun and people talking, which was fine. Then a group of adults connected a phone to a speaker. I was able to soak in the hot tub for about 10 minutes, but the music was so loud, on top of children having fun and people trying to talking over the music that I left and went back to our room. Way to noisy for me.
Over all our stay was good, but I thought cost was pricey for a one night stay.

Great budget friendly place
The staff is friendly and efficient, the king room was a good size. Location near downtown and other great activities. The price was good for that area.

Smells like brussel sprouts and water damage..
We stayed on the 2nd floor and towards our side of the hallway it smelled like steamed Brussel sprouts or some sort of water damage had happened. In our room the bottom of the cabinet had water damage, and the ceiling in the bathroom had what appeared to be mold spores growing. Our room appeared to be missing a section of curtain as there was a huge gap between the curtain and window where we can see the parking lot lights while trying to sleep. Our room also smelled strange to where we had to buy room fresheners. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Overall it was mediocre for the amount of money we paid for 2 nights. My group overall agreed we would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again when we return to Traverse.

We went to a wedding. The price was reasonable for the area and the hotel was in a good location. The rooms were quiet and clean.
