Oh my God, the cutest place ever… Beautiful pool, fun tiki bar yummy quesadillas in the Aztec feeling Mexican restaurant perfect for a hangover before going out into the world… I love an old-school motel if I'm ever around this is the only place I will stay :-)

Just one night & fine stay. The room was very roomy, really nice to have the sitting area/TV room. Beds were very comfortable! Check in was quick & easy, nice people running office 😁the only thing was if walking around barefoot, which I do, the floor could be cleaner. Would stay again.

Friendly staffing easy to check in and out they had a restaurant and bar bar ext to the pool didn't have to leave to have fun.

Always a wonderful stay at a beautiful property. I joke with my wife about the need to go to Hawaii when caliente tropics is so close

Great theme, cheap hotel
This hotel is cheap in many ways but it’s doubles down on the Tiki Theme in ways only seen at them parks. The attention to detail spent on making every rock, every pillar, every post have a tiki idol on it could have been spared for better mattresses or to replacing the shower handles.
Pros: Great on site bar (The Reef) with heavy pours. Great pool and hot tub! Tiki theme on MAX, AC worked great!
Cons: cheapest mattress ever, thin walls, had to get pool towels from the front desk, microwaves are rented from front office.
Would I return? Yes. Would I also bring a mattress pad, my own microwave, and pool towels? Also yes.
Bottom line: if your plan is to visit Palm Springs and indulge in enough tiki themed cocktails to render yourself unconscious each night, it’s perfect. If you’re expecting a luxury stay, it’s not for you.

Where to start… got there opened up the door to an old musty cigarette smell and almost all light fixtures didn’t work nor outlets .. we made do with one out let which was on the lamp (used for husbands C-PAP machine) next was the shower faucet handle … IT SPUN ! Had to guess on where to find hot or cold and had to play with it to turn off… I wish this was all that was wrong…. Woke up in middle of the night to cockroach crawling in front of my feet while using the restroom.. ughhh I couldn’t sleep after this and so we checked out earlier then we had planned…. Pool and tiki bar was good… but I won’t be back… sad because this place looks like it would have potential if somebody would just upkeep everything or upgrade

Most of the outlets in the room don’t work, the toilet seat is pinching me every time I go to the restroom. Overall, it’s old and dated.
