Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Clean hotel and close to good restaurants and sightseeing . Only improvement I would suggest is bigger pillows and more blankets on the beds . Also had to move the microwave to use it as the cord would not reach and was not plugged in when we arrived

The property was clean, our room was ok but the bathroom/ shower was awful the tub was slippery and nothing to grab on to very small and no exhaust. Will not be back.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The liberty station restaurant was wonderful and close by. An easy drive. Easy parking. The hallway where our room was could have been a little cleaner.

When i pulled the covers back on my bed there was change YES change in the bed .35 AND hair, LONG hairs AND other things i cannot identify. I have pictures. How does a house keeper NOT SEE change on the bed except they didn’t even bother to look from the previous guest which means they didn’t change the linen OR EVEN look at it. This is disgusting and I would like a full refund. The desk clerk when i reported it could not careless. Not one bit. I asked for the manager she was not there and I was told by the desk clerk the manager will probably not call you…but you can call her. Well I didnl call but she has not been there.

It’s a typical Super 8 hotel…nothing fancy, just a decent place to spend a night. The property is clean and well-maintained. We were in town for one night to visit the National D-Day Memorial, and this Super 8 is close and convenient to it. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially with recommendations on nearby dining options. The property is across the highway from a gas station/convenience store and a fast-food restaurant. We would stay there again.

The room was clean and faced away from the highway so it was quiet. On the down side, two of the lamps in the room had to be turned on and off by using the plug. The switches were inoperative. One other lamp didn't work at all.

Serviced but *not* cleaned
Overall interior smell was musky and strong. At arrival (and while also seeing "clean" towels, replaced toiletries, etc.), we found pee on the toilet, dead bugs and other debrii on the very unvacuumed floor, even loose dirt on top of the bedspread. Condition was so bad that we nearly left the hotel (paid in full) to find another place...Were it not so late, and were there something better in Bedford...we most likely would have left. The staff were nice...

The bed was very comfortable and clean. However what I did not like is that this is the second year in a row that we have stayed here during 4th of July. It is a fact that people in the community will come and park at the hotel to see the fireworks that the firehouse presents. After checking in on July 3rd we headed over to my aunt's house that is located about 14 miles away. We were advised by the front desk that they could not guarantee we would have our parking space available due to the people that come and used the parking lot to see the fireworks. I think this is not how you do good business. If I pay to stay at your hotel, I expect to also have a parking space available. It would be one thing if there is just not enough for the hotel guests, this is not the case here at this location. We travel to Smith Mountain Lake often as we have family there and I think this is our last time staying at the Super 8, in Bedford, VA
