I've stayed here many, many times and have never been disappointed. (The VA uses this site for room vouchers for VA patients who qualify.) My last visit was purely for pleasure as the staff and volunteers a free meal to all veterans. I must say, "they outdid themselves as EVERYTHING was GREAT!!! My thanks go out to Sherrill for an outstanding job.

This place was adequate, but just barely. The room was run down and the pillows on the bed were literally the size of throw pillows with regular pillow cases folded around them. When we checked in, we were asked if we would need maid service during our visit. I figured maid service was automatic, but apparently not. We never ate the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that.

This hotel is good value, it’s less expensive than other hotels in the area. The front desk staff were efficient, positive and helpful. You can walk to several restaurants and convenience stores in the area, if you don’t mind walking on Tunnel Road which is busy. The rooms could use some serious updating, especially the bedding and furniture. Breakfast was adequate, it’s what you would expect from an American chain. The hotel is fine for a night or so but it would not be my choice for a honeymoon or vacation.

We USED TO happily stay at this hotel on a regular basis. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our latest stay and probably will. not be choosing this hotel again in the future unless some major changes happen. The main negative is that despite trying two rooms, they both had a strong odor of smoke. There were other rooms that we walked past that had their doors open and they also had strong smell of smoke. We were told that originally there was a plan to overhaul the hotel, but it obviously never happened as the rooms are rather worn. There are other cons and some pros too, but the smoke in a hotel that advertises as 100% smoke free is a major issue.

Decent place to sleep. Rooms are dated. AC blower you could feel across the room (despite turning it down too). Parking can be difficult with hilly spaces and what seemed potentially not enough spaces. Breakfast was ok but very limited in selections and no fruit. We wouldn’t call it a full breakfast. Slightly more than continental but that’s because of some eggs (good not salty) and biscuits and gravy. Front desk staff very pleasant. Overall good enough stay.

The staff was really polite.Housekeeping cleaned to the best of there ability however the carpet was horrible It needs to be replaced My feet got dirty.Breakfest was a plus and i felt safe.I would recommend only if nothing else was available.

Police & US Marshall's raided this place,arrested a bunch of folks on drug charges,,,not a welcome site,,we left!!!!! Bulcombe Police issued a public notice about this place. Do not recommend. Please check out places before you book for your family, also,a homeless camp is right across the street from. This hotel,alot of folks begging for money.not safe

We tried to cancel our room upon arrival due to the room conditions. The room was changed but the second room was just as nasty as the first room. Also we made the reservations over the phone and discovered the rate was $41.00 less if we had biked at the time of arrival. We tried to cancel the room and relocate however was told we could leave but would still be charged. This hotel had very few guest on the premises and we certainly can understand why. 2 point DONT BOOK OVER THE PHONE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY MORE＞ and MAKE SURE TO GO TO THE HOTEL AND BE SURE ITSACCEPTABLT BEFORE AGRREING TO STAY THERE＞ This was by far the worst experience we have ever had concerning a hotel stay.
