Our experience here was great. We prefer North Shore but have stayed many times in South Shore. We’ve stayed North Shore about 4 times, although every experience was good and met our needs, we really enjoyed our stay here. First impression of our room was it was very clean, great view, comfortable space, refrigerator, sink, coffee pot, toaster, microwave which was fabulous. We ate our dinners out mostly but were able to heat our oatmeal or toast or reheat our coffee or eat frozen dinners when we were tired after hiking! It’s Fall, but when we first arrived, there were many people enjoying the beach, the lake, the amenities! Great place for families and kids. We like to travel off season so it’s quieter so … but apparently, there was a private celebration going on. Many people having fun, enjoying the lake, kids swimming…. but people left and then the next day more people left and it was soooo quiet after that. Mostly older couples around. We stayed 5 days. The weather started cooling, rain came in, so we couldn’t enjoy the amenities the resort had to offer, kayaks, water bikes, paddle boards, swimming in the lake, but we knew that, we came for the quiet off season times. Comfortable clean room, great view, friendly staff, and appreciated that the resort texted us everyday to see if we needed or wanted anything!!! After COVID, lots of places check you in and you never hear from them again unless you need anything. Thank you Mourelatos resort and staff for a great experience!!!

The bed is too firm for comfort. The wall heater doesn’t work, and the bathroom ceiling blower heater stays cold. But the room is a good size, and the slanted front window gives a great view of the lake. The kitchen is also well stocked with equipment, and the stove and oven work great. They provide a small portable electric heater, but the ceiling is high and it takes awhile to warm the room when it’s down to 60 degrees inside. (I left the sliding door open overnight so we could hear the waves on the lake, not knowing there would be no heat to warm it up in the morning.) I just expected a little better for $504 for two nights (that is, if they don’t charge us the $50 resort fee for the two nights - then it will be $604). We aren’t using any of the lake equipment, and the weather isn’t great for outdoor activity. We’ll see if they charge us the resort fee.

Great location. On lake. Nice kitchen and room. Don't need to do the dishes. Just leave them in the sink. A bit noisy, but not too bad. Great location. Near great Italian restaurant, Lanza. Superb eggplant parmesan. Close to Safeway. Close to Nevada.

I have been coming to Tahoe for 30 years. We found the gem of the lake at Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort! It’s a great family friendly resort with the best friendly accommodating staff and location! Kids can be kids right on the lake and families can be together.

We live in the Las Vegas Valley and decided at the last minute to visit Lake Tahoe. We did a lot of research and decided to stay at Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort. I’m so glad we did! If you’re looking for a luxurious 5-star resort, Mourelatos is not that. BUT, if you want a nice resort where you can “comfortably live” in – and ENJOY - a beautiful Lake Tahoe environment in a great location, check this place out! Every single staff member we interacted with was both super pleasant and helpful and always available. We stayed in #148 (2nd/top floor closest to the road). The room was super comfortable, had all the amenities we wanted (full kitchen minus a dishwasher which was really not needed by us). The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet at night, and it was a wonderful get-away! This would be a great place for a family reunion with kids. There’s a Safeway really close by, lots of good restaurants close by AND there are Gas BBQs on the property – along with gobs of other toys like water bikes, paddleboards, Cornhole, etc. If we go back, we’ll book early enough to get a Lake Front Room w/Kitchen instead of a Lake View w/Kitchen.

What a lovely find! We stayed 2 nights while skiing Northstar and found location perfect and convenient not only to skiing but restaurants and supermarket. Our room had a nice kitchen and gorgeous lake view, which yielded fantastic sunrise and sunset skies! Wonderful hot tub after a day on the slopes. Very nice and responsive staff. Only issue was the nighttime security lights that shone some light into our unit that could not be blocked out because it's an upper pane of glass with no blinds. Alex, the owner, is super nice. I will definitely stay again. Summertime they have kayaks and other activities, it's a place great for families.

This place is magical. If you want your own beach with an assortment of water toys (kayaks, water bikes, paddle boards, water trampoline) that are available for the asking, this place is for you! Room decor is a bit dated but spotless. What this resort has going for it is the beautiful beach with toys a minute or two from your room. They make it SO easy to play! There is corn hole, a ping pong table, outdoor fire pits and barbecues, All rooms have a view of the beach and its own small outdoor table with chairs. Easy to have your morning coffee and/or play games with your beer or glass of wine in the afternoon. Our room had a small kitchen. Mourelatos even has its own ice cream shoppe across the street that stays open fairly late. We stayed for a week. Most evenings there was live music on the beach. Yoga was offered some mornings. The staff is unfailingly helpful and available. Many have been with the resort a number of years. This speaks volumes. If you wish to eat out there are so many places to go…something for everybody. Incline Village, Kings Beach or Tahoe City are just minutes away. Now we see why many return year after year. Next year we will be among them!

My husband and I absolutely loved it here. Great location on North Shore. Our room faced the lake with an unbelievable view. Rooms are very spacious, a little older, but very clean. Enjoyed the paddle boards and live music right on property. Although it was just my husband and I, so many families having a wonderful time creating such a great vibe. Staff was very nice as well. Highly recommend. Another great feature is they will text you about events at resort and you can just text them any quick questions without going to the office or calling and receive a quick response.
房间很干净舒适,四个人住合适。屋外的景色也非常美!很多人都直接一周在这里休息。自助入住的流程也很方便!
