On site restaurant is fabulous. Happy hour food is great, roaring fireplace inside, outdoor seating under lights. Friendly, helpful staff, quaint historic property. Very comfortable.

We came in for a wedding and stayed overnight. The bathrooms are horribly small, very narrow doorways. Parking leaves a lot to be desired. Two parties arrived in a full sized pick up truck and even in the far away section, it isn't friendly. One of the clean(was supposed to be clean) hand towels had a huge wad of someone else's hair in it. Very gross when I grabbed it to dry my mouth after brushing my teeth. If you're looking for comfort, this isn't it.

Room required stairs with no assistance to get luggage to room. Host changed room to make is more easily accessible but still required several steps and no help for nearly 80 year old. Really liked the facility!

I actually ended up leaving the hotel right after check-in. They have no food services in the mornings and no food service on Monday's. The room was very small and smelled like mildew. The front lobby receptionist was very professional and supportive. She tried to guide me to Door Dash or local food services, but without any morning services I decided to move hotels.

酒店回复: Thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves on what we are and not anything more or less. That said, we are a "unique, boutique" hotel built in 1927. As such, our rooms are uniquely designed and smaller than your "cookie cutter" box hotels. We offer amenities that many of those hotels do not, such as bathrobes and record players in most rooms, with a record library in the lobby- no charge. We do have a small market that offers cereal, yogurt, baked goods, fresh fruit coffee and juices in the mornings. Over the years, a true full breakfast we have found just has not been in demand.Although we did not notice any mildew smell, we did do a deep clean just to be sure no other guest perceived this.We wish you the best on your future visits in the area and trust you will find a hotel that better suits your needs.

When we arrived, we brought all of our luggage in with us, only to be told we needed to go around the block. The valet could have told us not to bring in all of our luggage. Then we had some difficulty finding the entrance, as there was no signage.
The rooms need better soundproofing. We could hear the other guests around us.
It’s a lovely town, and the staff were friendly.

酒店回复: Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, the Valet is an outside company not employed by the hotel and only is here twice a week for the restaurant. With that, they would not know to guide you for your room unfortunately. As far as signage, we appreciate that comment and will definitely work to improve that for future guests. With soundproofing, we will certainly look to see how we can improve that also.

Very nice property…only downside was there was no elevator (one of our party could have used one). Very good customer service!!!

Musty smell in lower level room. They could not offer another room as they were booked up and according to the front desk many of the rooms smelled damp

This was a mixed experience for me. The inn itself is really quaint and cozy, and the staff were absolutely amazing — Dayton at the front desk was wonderful!!! :) Gavin and Erica were so sweet, and the bartender at 56 Tavern was great too. Honestly, the customer service is what stood out the most during my stay.
The downside was my room. It was right above the restaurant and patio, so it was loud — I could hear the patio door opening and closing throughout the day until closing, and it even shook the walls. The hotel was fully booked with two weddings, so switching rooms wasn’t an option. On top of that, the tub stopper didn’t work, the fridge froze my food & bottled waters & the room could have been cleaner (there was dust on the nightstands and a spider web on the ceiling), and the overall quality of the room didn’t feel like it matched the price I paid for it.
So, while I loved the staff and the overall charm of the place, I can’t say I loved my room.
环境特别好,有着浓郁的乡村特色周围植被茂盛,就是打车不太方便
