This hotel has been condemned and is closed. This happened over the summer. I made reservations in February and found out it was closed the day we were supposed to check in by looking at Google maps and seeing “Permanently closed” above the address. What?! So I did a search and found articles about the fire department declaring it uninhabitable and it being condemned! We received a confirmation email 2 days before our arrival (automated email obviously) so I spent an hour in a parking lot en route trying to find someplace else to sleep! Neither Super 8 or Wyndham contacted us about the hotel being closed.

There is cockroaches, they will not be the only issue though. The rooms are uninhabitable, the hotel is way below industry standards and the tenants make everything rather scarey.

My recent stay at the Super 8 Motel was great thanks to the kind staff. They were welcoming and efficient, making check-in a breeze. The motel's convenient location made exploring the area easy. Would stay again if I happen to be in the area!!

The property is some kind of homeless shelter, and there are some very scary folks wandering around there. The room was filthy and smelled like sweat and ****. The AC unit was set into a rough hole in the wall that I could see daylight though. The window had no screen and opened at ground level into the parking lot. I literally ran away.

HORRIBLE! Do not go here unless you are in the market for illegal substances or love filth. Everything reeked of cigarettes and **** even though there were no smoking signs everywhere. The room had no curtains and a huge window facing the parking lot. Everything was broken, bathroom door had multiple holes, shower didn't work, dead bolt didn't work, etc. We were afraid to touch basically any surface. We would have left but it was extremely late at night and the parking lot was full of people mulling around, smoking, fighting so we didn't feel safe and I wasn't sure what I was going to find at another hotel. We slept on top of the covers for 5 hours and got the heck out of there! There were also people screaming, fighting, doing God knows what in the trash-filled hallways most of the night. The good news is, they must have all been passed out somewhere when we made our quick exit at 6:30 am.

It was the absolute sketchiest, dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in and I considered asking for a cleaner room but I was afraid! Homeless ppl living in hallways trash bags left all over throughout hallways and stairwells!? Cigarette burns and funky looking stains on bedding.. smoke detector beeping nonstop! Holes in walls and building generally falling apart everywhere not to mention the unpleasant odors

Every review you see here is true. Just after check-in, we had to step over a mess of cereal on the floor. It was either dumped out of a bowl (with milk) or worse. On the door, someone had written "We are new ppl here". The room itself stank of many substances. The furniture was "distressed", to say the least. The coat rack was rusty and barely hanging on the wall. The smoke detector had been removed from the ceiling and placed on the desk. Bare wires remained. People were screaming at each other, children were crying, dogs were barking. Someone had a grill setup in the parking lot. It did not look temporary. The first ground floor room closest to the entrance had several months supply of empty Mt. Dew and beer cans stacked up in the window. No. Just....no.

Cleanliness: the pictures say it all Quietness: people came and went all night long Affordability: charged for two nights when I stayed only one, as "the maintenance people" had given the room to someone else, according to the lady at the front desk Refund: still chasing for it

This place has bugs especially roaches, not following the county laws by doing construction at ungodly times especially at 9 pm going into 3 am. The manager doesn't want to make sure his guests are comfortable and he chooses who he works with. This place isn't up to code. What they say they have like the pool and fitness center they don't have I had no microwave and was forced to go to the lobby just to use one and in order to keep my fridge closed I had to keep something in front of it. One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Kalamazoo.

I thought this was low income housing by the looks of the outside. I requested ground level, did not get it. My room had gum, coins, a barrette, & an onion on the floor. No breakfast, fridge, or micro
