The pool water was super cloudy. Since the hotel is close to Six Flags it was invaded by families with kids over the weekend. Looks like the hotel is still catching up with cleaning the place all Monday. Only fast food places are in walking distance. Not a good area. I can’t recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a place close to Six Flags.

Kathleen made me an amazing cocktails drink. Strongly recommend to try it out! Also the hotel is clean, neat and have good view if you live high floor. It is also close to the UTSA as well as the mall which has so many stores to visit . Everything is amazing.

The staff was the most helpful I have ever met. Angel at the front desk was excellent. The free breakfast was amazing. The bed was so soft and warm. The house keepers were amazing. The pool was the perfect temperature. Thank you to all of the staff.

Katelyn was an absolute best experience to check in and helped with every follow up question I had! Well done. Once I checked in, the process was speedy, offered to water and was very personable at the desk. I have now stayed multiple times and have had the ability to check in multiple times and she is the best.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. There was no free breakfast but you do get those delicious chocolate chip cookies. nothing fancy, but a good place to stay overnight. prices are reasonable compared to staying at the Riverwalk or downtown. It’s about 25 minutes from those areas. Close to the 10 freeway.

I wanted to thank the entire staff for a great stay last weekend! Katelyn, Ashley and George all did a great job. The girls already had my room ready before I got there which gave me enough time to grab a few drinks at the amazing bar before my clients and I headed downtown for dinner. Great location for NW SA. The room was perfect and the staff was top notch. Thank you Katelyn! I will definitely be back the next time that I have to work in SA. I recommend this location of DoubleTree to everyone.

This was a great hotel right next to UTSA! We had a tournament at UTSA and this was perfect. The room had great AC and all the amenities. Only thing is there is not a complimentary breakfast. There is coffee and water in the lobby. The parking is really easy and free with the marked off lots.

This stay was absolutely wonderful. From the staff at the front desk, the restaurant and bar, and housekeeping I have nothing but great things to say. Evonna, Ashley, and Jessica at the front desk were especially sweet and helpful. George at the bar had great service and was personable. If you are in the area definitely give this hotel a try!

I accidentally walked into the wrong hotel but Sierra was super nice and helpful to me! She helped me figure out the issue and now I will stay at this hotel next time I’m in San Antonio. The hotel is conveniently located by the UTSA campus and there are many good options near by. Definitely recommend!
