We decided to stop in Lafayette on our way to Orange Beach for a baseball tournament. The hotel looked fine online but I didn’t look at the reviews, well, clearly I didn’t look at the hotel well enough at all. It was dirty and damp and had several bugs. There was a very active and loud nightlife also, which was a little uncomfortable. All in all, we stayed because it was already so late but we’d never recommend this place to anyone else unfortunately.

Seriously. Don't stay here. The desk staff is very friendly and helpful. All I wanted was a clean affordable room to lay my weary head. Then I turned down the bedding. Hmm, are those stains on the sheets coffee or maybe blood? Don't know, could be poop. I travel a lot and have made many concessions at hotels. But no matter what, Wyndham hotels are always clean and well-lit for the most part. Then I stopped here. As with all my reviews I always mention the parking area. This one is clean, lit and feels safe. Quick recap: staff is great and the hotel feels safe. I pull back the bedding. Sheets very stained. (Comment and let me know what you think they are.) I think, "I can remove the sheet and and just use the top sheet. Gross but I've been on the road for over a week. I'm tired." Then... I remove the sheet. The mattress is stained. A lot. A LOT. Poop? Blood? Puke? Childbirth? Crime Scene? While I wait for Wyndham to connect I take a look at the other reviews. (I don't usually read reviews for Wyndham hotels because you shouldn't have to.) A fast skim reveals over 2 years of the same complaint. Obviously the owner is unconcerned that the hotel is a bio-hazard. If that was mean then let's just say "hygenitically incorrect. " If this happened at your house I'm pretty sure you'd just buy a new sheet. Months of the same issue and simply buying clean bedding has apparently not been considered at all. I should call the health inspector and file a complaint. I won't. THIS IS YOUR WARNING. Should a Wyndham international staff member be reading this: This is unacceptable for any human. This should NOT be in the Wyndham family at all. See the photos. This is the worst review I have ever given. It is deserved. This single experience will make me avoid this hotel brand for the rest of my life. BTW the toilet seat is loose.

The rooms were dirty, floors, carpet room had mildew smell. Breaks horrible, coffee was not good, waffle maker broken, not much to pick from donuts/muffins. People smoking pot parking lot, Very low class overall!

Hotel was nasty dirty. The restroom had toilets that were about to fall off they wiggled when you sat on them. The characters hanging out there was very scary to families. The room was nasty the carpets are horrible. The bed was very uncomfortable and the air conditioner didn’t work very well

The room had a moldy smell, and it was present around the door. There was no soap in the room. I had to go to the store in the a.m., for soap. In the future I know not to stay at this place. After a rough night, and coming from the ER at 3 a.m., the house keeper banging on the door at 9a.m. There was no do not disturb sign available.

This was obviously an older hotel that Wyndham purchased and upgrades were implemented for the most part. We enjoyed that you could park at your door unlike the usual hotels. Check in/out was fast. There was a breakfast. I just wish there were fruit and yogurt options instead of most carbs. But that's just me. It was all great!

Great for an inexpensive stay. Breakfast was adequate. Minor cosmetic repairs need to be made in the bath room area. Vanity and bathroom fixtures. Road repairs near hotel was the only problem with the stay.

Just really gross rooms. I booked over the phone and didn’t take the time to research the hotel. Had to buy comforter to cover bed and wore sandals in bathroom. Room service also woke me up early when I had 2 days stay. Not many people at hotel and I can see why.
