I stayed at R Maidens hotel Kasauli. Its a beautiful hotel located very near to the market. We went on an unplanned trip so had no booking. We searched thru almost all the resorts on the way to kasauli but couldnt find a room as all of them were either sold out or were not fine for old people as the rooms were down the hill and there was no lift. Then we saw this hotel, checked with the manager and we got two rooms with nice view. One of the rooms had a balcony, the only room with balcony in the hotel. It had such a beautiful view. We spent the whole day in the balcony only watching the mountains, monkeys, birds, sunset and all. Room service was also good, the staff was polite, we asked for food to be prepared with no spices, as my mother in law and a 4year kid cant have spicy food, and they did well on that. Food was yummy, everyone just loved it. All the rooms were big, washrooms were also big enough, rooms are clean, room service is also available, staff is polite. They have a nice big restaurant also. Parking is free. Market is at a 5 minute walking distance. Stunning views from the rooms. We enjoyed our stay there.
