We had booked 2 rooms, on arrival the receptionist was helpful and tried to book two rooms near each other, unfortunately she couldn’t do this. We had one room on the ground floor which was fine. The second room was on the second floor, room 211. We had a constant humming noise, I couldn’t get to sleep for ages. Then the humming woke me up. Awful nights sleep. When I told staff on reception about the noise they could not care less. Worst Premier Inn I have ever been to.

I recently stayed at a Premier Inn and overall it was okay for the price, but there were a few issues worth mentioning. The main problem was noise from the corridor, the corridor door didn’t seem very soundproofed, and the constant noise kept waking both me and the kids throughout the night. Unfortunately, the bathroom also hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly, as there was hair left behind from a previous guest, which wasn’t pleasant to find. The spare bed’s sprung mattress wasn’t very comfortable, although the main double bed was actually very nice and I slept well on that when it was quiet. The free WiFi was quite slow, but 5G mobile data worked fine as an alternative. This is a budget-friendly hotel, so for the lower price point it was acceptable. However, if I had paid a higher rate, I likely would have raised these concerns during the stay.

Overall good experience!! The employee called Adrian especially was very kind and helpful, he was on his own during the evening, but still managed to help us with our meals and serve everyone else on front desk too! He was amazing and made our experience!! So thankyou! We was slightly disappointed that pizza was off the menu and some other items! But overall a good time!

On arrival we had lovely welcome from the lady at the desk. Our room was comfy clean and quiet, even though we were facing the main road- we never heard a sound from the traffic. Excellent value - although next time I wouldn't have the breakfast. The breakfast we paid for was unfortunately a bit disappointing. When we went to the hot food counter the plates were stone cold, there were empty trays where bacon, black pudding and mushrooms are, and the 3 'fried eggs' looked very unappealing. The toasting machine was the slowest I've ever had the misfortune of using. We didn't bother with breakfast after our first experience
