We were given a room in the basement that was directly underneath the dining room. The noise was unbearable and we had limited amount of sleep due to the noise. The window in the room was up so high that we could not see out of it. The room was damp and had an infestation of silverfish on the floor. Very limited parking spots on sight.
The breakfast was cold eggs, greasy sausage and no coffee unless you asked for staff to refill the canisters.
So very disappointing that we will never stay at the Courthouse again. If I could recommend anything it would be to stay clear of this hotel. Don’t waste your money.

Had a great stay and the bed was absolutely amazing, super comfortable. Staff is friendly, room was clean and the building is quite charming.

My initial experience at The Courthouse Hotel was exceptionally positive. While I was initially disappointed to learn my room was located on the lower level, the room itself proved to be remarkably impressive. It was, without a doubt, the finest hotel room I've enjoyed during my annual road trips between Alberta and Ontario. The room's quality almost seemed to be a mispricing, as it was far superior to what I anticipated. In comparison, I recently stayed at a motel in Sault Ste. Marie, paying $20 less, and the Courthouse Hotel was far superior. I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly make it my preferred choice for future travels.

Hotel was really nice. Breakfast was limited but there was enough to partake in. Clean and friendly staff. Love the building. Sunrise was amazing! Will stay again!

Great location. Rated a 4 as downtown are a bit sketchy but not enough to deter us from walking around. Beautiful building with interesting history. Rooms spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. Not far off highway. We were fortunate to have had a room overlooking Lake Superior - amazing view!

Loved my day at the Courthouse Hotel! The conversion to hotel is seamless and beautiful. The room are grand, comfortable and clean! Great service from the team all around.
