We booked a four night Stay at the lava rock we ended up checking out after second night just because we wanted to see the other side of the island when we arrived, the man was in the reception area in the back of the pool very friendly. We asked him about the breakfast. They told us was included and he told us there is no breakfast nothing fortunately The hotel is located within a few minutes walk to where all the shops and cafés are near the beach as for our room, it was very small, but to be expected the shower would run out of water mid shower. They were a few ants, but I believe that is normal for that location. We did end up using the pool, which was spotless, clean, and a great feature to have on the hot days, i would recommend for one night and if you have children, I would not suggest bringing them here just because the water runs out in the middle of the shower the hotel was very clean.

The place itself is beautiful, and the pool area is fabulous. For most of our stay we had it to ourselves. The room was basic, but okay. (Our room was Afrodite)when we first checked in the room appeared clean, but on closer inspection the bathroom wasn’t. Bed refreshed daily and changed once during our week, with fresh towels delivered most days. We only saw one buy working their the whole time, and he never stopped. He was extremely friendly too. However pleased be warned. No late checkouts available, they could store our luggage, however no toilet facilities available. We checked into the hotel next door who let us have a room for the 6 hours we had until our transfer.

The room was spotless clean and we had a nice mountain view. Lavarock Villa is around 250 meters from the Perissa beach, less than 5 minutes walking time. The swimming pool was better than our expectations! I hope I can go again sometime in the future!
