Lovely clean modern hotel,room a good size.sleep was disturbed by creaky floor boards in the room above us every time the occupants moved around. Staff friendly and welcoming and very helpful

On arrival the staff member was very friendly and helpful the room was warm and comfortable it was very clean and quiet. The towels and bedding were good quality, the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was excellent so much choice, we had a full English and it was so tasty and so big it was excellent. On checking out we asked about walks in the area and the staff member was very knowledgeable. All in all our visit was great and we will vists again. Thankyou to all the staff for a great stay.

I had an event to attend near Leeds, and this girl was in a very good location. It has everything you need for a short stay, it's clean, breakfast was very good, and they even have EV chargers. The lady that I mostly dealt with during my stay was very nice throughout, always doing her best to help. All in all, I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This hotel is very good value with clean rooms and very friendly, approachable staff. The breakfasts are good and of a high standard. Plenty of free parking in a pretty part of Wakefield, with lovely walks. This was our second time visiting and we’ll go again.

The reception lady was welcoming. The room and bathroom were very clean. The shower was terrible, something out of the 1970's. We had dinner at the restaurant and we had to wait for one hour. My chicken pie tasted like a ready meal from Iceland. It really didn't have the taste of a proper cooked meal, and was cold inside. The other meal was warmer but mediocre too. A big disappointment after waiting that long. A free drink was offered as a gesture of goodwill, but I would not recommend the restaurant. As a hotel, it's perfectly adequate for a short stay.

Adequate. But could have been better. The staff were lovely. The bedroom was bland and uninteresting. No pictures, no mirror over the dressing table, no coffee or tea despite there being a kettle and cups. Food unexceptional at dinner, breakfast was ok. The function room was busy on Saturday night and the noise intruded into the bar. Seats in the bar were very uncomfortable.The restaurant tables were more like a cafeteria.
