Staff was nice, clean. Dislikes bed was extremely hard, only drink available at breakfast was coffee, after baths/ showers the bottom of the tub was covered in a rust like substance

The noise in this place is insane. The people in the room above us are banging around so hard that the light on the ceiling by the room door is rattling. I’m not sure if they have a child or what, but it’s rude and disrespectful. I can hear them talking as well.
The people across from us stand by our door and laugh and talk loudly.
I am traveling with my two 10 year olds and we are completely exhausted but can’t relax or sleep with all this noise. It’s almost like a party hotel. Never will I ever stay here again. Unbelievable.

My son had a baseball tournament in Freeport about 20 min away.. It was a perfect location and very convenient for what we needed. Quiet, clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating…

We loved the hotel except for the pillows. They were horrible. They looked fluffy, but the second you put your head on them they went almost flat. Even stacking them did not help.

Bathroom tub would not drain. Had to shower in ankle deep water. Checked in too late to deal with it on a one night stay. Carpet coming into the room was horribly stained and desperately needed cleaning. Hallways were dirty and needed to be vacuumed. We have stayed here many times in the past but it is doubtful we will stay again.

Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Extremely loud, inconsiderate, rude people down the hall on third floor. They came in late, about 11:00 PM as we were already in bed. Called front desk and they said they would check on it. About an hour and a half later the rowdy’s finally shut up.

This is always my go to hotel when I visit Defuniak Springs, check in is always speedy. Rooms are always fresh & clean. And let’s not forget how I love the shower head!! Overall always a pleasant & safe stay!!!
