A lovely , peaceful , cozy hotel, not to mention their amazing friendly service. highly recommend this to anyone looking for a classic place for a night or weekend.

This is good for a brief and mostly comfortable stay in Mbombela.
The room is really small, but well laid out and the AC works well. The wifi was not great but okay, and the hotel does have a backup generator if needed.
The staff were mostly friendly, but more care can be taken to explain about the property at check-in, or even provide a statement at checkout (still waiting for that to be emailed to me). The pool is nice although it was pretty much taken over by people who brought their own music speakers making it unpleasant for hotel guests.
The door key cards kept erroring out, which meant going back to reception multiple times, and there is no elevator for anyone with disabilities or heavy bags.
Price wise the hotel was reasonable, but onsite food and drink is pricey.

The is a party happening on my floor, sent a message to the front desk. No response for 3 hours. They don’t seem to care. Food was horrible. I had to ask for basic things like a wipe. Cool drinks were hot. Toilet paper roll was almost finished 😭

Hotel has friendly staff. Lots of ice available and a mechanized shoe shine. Rooms are structured for an overnight visit with space for laptop with USB port to charge all devices. Quality WiFi signal. A pool and quality outside eating area. Congratulations to management and staff.

The hotel offers so little options when it comes to breakfast and to make it worse the chef/server doesn't have a pleasant/cheerful face, which makes the food even more terrible. A visit to a wimpy or some coffee shop nearby would have been worth it.

The room had ants,tables and the headboard were dirty..The shower was flooding. The room had no fridge. Dinner took forever to be served and the waiters/waitresses didn't bother to assure us on how far the food is to be ready.Dinner was served and wasn't the same as in the menu

Bad stay @ Town Lodge Mbombela
Booked 3 x non-smoking rooms, were allocated 3 x very bad smelling smoking rooms. Booked 6 months in advance, booking confirmation showed non-smoking. Town Lodge refused to move us. Breakfast very expensive for what you get.
