I have been travelling to Aalst very often for business reasons over the last year and Keizershof hotel is by far the best hotel in Aalst. The standard of accommodation is exceptional, the rooms are great and clean, the hotel restaurant is cosy and quiet, the selection of Belgian beers is extensive and the breakfast is perfect. And most importantly, the people here are great. Especially Lindsay in particular is a role model for how F&B should represent a hotel.

I was positively surprised by the level of service at this hotel in Aalst. At first, I had made a mistake with my reservation at a well-known French hotel chain. I then found this hotel, and the staff were extremely helpful. They managed the booking over the phone very efficiently and explained everything clearly. The service is truly excellent. The room itself was very good and met my expectations. What left me a little disappointed, however, was the atmosphere of the hotel and the bar. It doesn’t really invite you to sit down, have a drink, or read a book in a warm and welcoming environment. Overall, a very good stay thanks to the excellent service, but I believe the atmosphere in the bar and common areas could be improved to create a more enjoyable experience.
