Our room was comfortable and clean. But we think the extra charge for the breakfast room is unacceptable. It isn't a restaurant with table service. The breakfast is no different than any other hotel breakfast that is provided at no extra charge with the stay. We will avoid staying at this hotel on our future frequent visits to Kalamazoo.

Everything was good. Fast check in and the room was very clean. The only thing was the thermostat. This is our second stay here and the room would stay at a comfortable temperature. We like our room to be cool. But its set on some economy mode. So the room would get very warm in the middle of the night.

The staff was very helpful regarding the problems we encountered while staying there. For some reason our first room had no internet. We couldn’t charge our phones or connect our devices to the internet. The night clerk did her very best to rectify the issue. She did move us to a suite but the suite was not clean or well maintained. They were going to deep clean it for us but unfortunately due to personal issues we had to check out after only one night. All of the staff were very good and helpful.

Parking was easy. No signs on the road as to how to get to motel, so that was a little bit of a challenge.

The room was clean however the hotel seems a bit under staffed. Most of the front desk workers were not very friendly- as in they did not smile or make us feel like we were welcome in the hotel.
We had to go to the front desk to get towels, our room was not cleaned and the sheets for the pull out couch did not fit the mattress. Also the mattress on the pull out couch was in poor condition and was very uncomfortable.
The hotel itself did look nice and it was close to restaurants and stores which was nice. I might book here again because we enjoyed having a separate bedroom and the small kitchen area but if I found another hotel with the same amenities I would definitely check that one out first.
