I found myself in Troutdale without a place to sleep - I was recommended to try the Best Western. I booked the room just a couple hours before arriving. Check in was a breeze, the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and the complimentary continental breakfast was better than average. Prices were in line with other area hotels. Best Western was such a life saver this weekend, I'd definitely look to stay in one again.

The property was very nice and quiet.
I have no idea where the front desk guy was because he was never there when we came and went, you had to push a ringer for him.
They put a $250 hold on your card and it takes over a week to get iy back.

The clerks do their work around the corner in the back office where they can spread out a little and hide their paperwork mess too. We do release your security hold when you check out but it can take 3 to 10 business days for your bank to drop the hold. They had great yogurt but wish there was more fruit. Coffee was great. The hard boiled eggs were hard and rubbery so that was not good.

They need to install grab bars in the tub/shower. The bathroom was tiny. The towels were terrible. The staff was very good. The breakfast was pretty good. Parking was free and adequate. Convenient location to many things.
