We have visited this lovely hotel several times. This time the food was better than ever. We had melon, calamari and goats cheese starters. All beautifully presented and left us looking forward to our mains. I had the chicken supreme and it was delicious. The flavour was delicate, but so moorish, the chicken was moist and the mash nice and creamy. We finished with the poached pear and Christmas cake ice cream. The perfect end to the meal. The staff were attentive, but not overbearing. Music was very soft meaning it was easy to hold conversations. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening

Beautiful sea views from lounge and restaurant. Comfortable bedrooms and very clean. Excellent breakfast and dinner options. Lovely friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed in a downstairs room which had doors leading straight outside. Unfortunately, the room was quite dark with no view at all. It was also very noisy due to guests in the room above, and the carpets had a damp smell, which made the stay less comfortable. For the price we paid, the room really wasn’t worth it — we expected something much better. The hotel itself could really do with some updating, as it feels quite tired in places. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, but there was one lady — who I believe is in charge — that could really work on her customer service skills. She talks and acts as though she’s a head teacher, which doesn’t make for a very welcoming atmosphere. On a positive note, the food was absolutely lovely, and that really was the highlight of our stay. Such a shame that we were let down by the room, as this could be a much nicer hotel with a few improvements.
