Stayed 2 nights for a family function being held in the hotel and was very disappointed. Very little interaction from staff at check in. Hotel looking very shabby in places, however they’ve obviously invested some money in decorating, and a lot is still going on around the hotel. Bathroom was disgusting. In need of total refurbishment- for £150 a night I’d have expected better. Complained twice about cleanliness of the bathroom - still wasn’t up to much after this kids skipped bath time this weekend! Photos were after the bathroom was cleaned following first complaint!! We had a private room for the function, where other than food arriving/being removed no staff at all. No drinks service, we had to go and find waiting staff to clear mains and to bring coffee and tea. All in all a very disappointing stay

We booked a few rooms for a family celebration and we had the most fabulous time. We stayed in the Ribble View suite and WOW what a treat! Recently refurbished stunningly furniturished. Huge bed. Private sea view balcony. Bathroom even has a sea view. Extra bedroom too for the children. Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked and served. The bar area and lounges were comfortable and relaxing. The Location is opposite the sand dunes and on the beach. Meters from St Annes pier and town centre with B&M, M&S food, boots etc all within 5 mins walk. Blackpool was 2 miles to the left and upmarket Lytham 2 miles to the right. We visited both and a vast contrast but great fun. Such a special place with great family memories. The hotel did us proud the service was great thank you.

Stayed for 4 nights with the summer deal b/b& evening meal (2 courses) which I thought it was a good deal till I got to my room it was a standard double, I had to keep a light on most of the time as it was quite dark. The window was , well it was glass but lt was like jam jar bottoms so couldn't see out but then again the view was at least a 12ft fence so could not even see what the weather was like. Thank goodness there was a fan in the room as I stayed during the hot weather and kept it on day and night. The room number was 129 on the first floor.I asked could I move to another room but there was no vacancies, I also asked did all the double standard room have the same view and the receptionist said yes which I don't believe that was true. On a more positive note the staff were very nice and the food was excellent . The bathroom was modern but the room was on the small side, wouldn't be comfortable if there was 2 people in the room. As a solo traveler I had stayed there before but would be hesitant to go back

All of our Standard and Compact rooms do have either internal, side or rear views and we would not disagree that these rooms are not about the view, We are extremely lucky to face the Beach and have wonderful Seaviews available on all of our Executive and Superior Rooms. We would love to see you again and please just give us a call and we can try to allocate a room that will be suitable for your needs. Kind regards

Enjoyed a super Dinner Dance last evening at The Glendower Hotel , St Anne's, Lancashire. The location was super and the food was good, but the staff require a special mention for their efficiency and friendliness. They were super. The occasion was clearly enjoyed by all the guests that attended. 88 in total. The evening was a great success.

Around the first weekend of the year, we stayed at the Glendower Hotel for a long weekend, during which we held a 60th birthday party there. It was our second time staying there and, if anything, we felt that what was already an excellent hotel was even better. The room was spotless, very well equipped and had a fabulous view of the sea. The breakfast was excellent, with kind, attentive and friendly staff who waited on us. In fact, you could say that all the staff have made every attempt to get to know us and anticipate our wishes each time we have stayed there. This was why we returned to book a function as well as stay. The 60th birthday was everything we could have wished for - and more! The event staff had been prompt in responding to enquiries and in helping us to realise what it was we wanted and how to make it happen. The rooms used for the party were spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished with comfortable chairs, brilliant for sitting in after the buffet. The food was universally enjoyed by our guests, some of whom are professional chefs - they could not find fault with the quality, the taste or the presentation. And, they are a hard-to-please crowd! There was a lovely ambience and we were not rushed at all, as the party did go on much longer then we anticipated. A special thank you must go to Sophie Butterworth and her team in making all this happen. To summarise: if you want a stay that is good quality at a reasonable price, The Glendower Hotel is the best I've stayed in along the Fylde Coast. If you want a function that is well-catered, has a lovely atmosphere, and where your guests feel truly looked-after, The Glendower Hotel is your place. Located on the front, with marvellous views and excellent parking capacity, you and your guests could not ask for more.

The location was brilliant, only just over an hour from home, we decided in the summer to call in and enquire about Christmas, what an amazing time we had, so much so we have decided to return for 2026. The food was excellent our compliments to the chef, the room although spotless was a little dark being at the back of the building, we have requested a front facing one for next time. We met some lovely people, many of whom return each year, so hoping to meet up again. Entertainment was very good both afternoon and evening, nothing too much trouble for any of the staff, and the car parking was more than adequate, carnt wait to return. Well done to all concerned, first class.

Attended with family and friends the New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Glendower hotel in Lythem st Anne’s. The event was beautifully planned, starting with bubbles and canapés various dishes and finished off the meal to a fab cheese plate to share. Even provided tea coffee and chocolates for those that wanted it, thought this a nice touch. Food was amazing, staff worked very hard to ensure we all enjoyed the evening, especially Hailey, who constantly checked on us and other tables to make sure we had all we needed. Hailey, , was professional yet fun at the same time enjoying the event in a working capacity. Cudos to all at the Glendower.
