The staff were very friendly, but the amenities are limited, the food is underwhelming, especially for the price. The hotel store is extremely expensive compared to local markets.

Very clean and great staff. Food was OK and mostly the same every day. If you smoke you have to basically leave the property just a heads up on that. Otherwise very nice small quiet (for the most part) relaxing place. Also if you are an early riser and you drink coffee they will not let you in the buffet to get coffee before 6:30am. This goes for all and if you have an excursion that leaves early this would be an issue. They should definitely have it available somewhere accessible. They do have coffee makers in the room but just make sure it works.

Staff was great, resort and rooms were very clean. Food was good. Only draw back was that it sits on a public beach and there were no resort chairs unless you carried them there from the towel area. The beach itself was good not rocky and fairly clear. Didn’t see much in the water though.

The staff was so nice and helpful! We koved the resort and the beautiful beach. Had many great meals at Banana Wild. Fiona was the best waitress!

I stayed at Margaritaville in Costa Rica for a full week and overall had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived. I chose the all-inclusive package and did excursions every other day, so I was only on the resort about half of the time. Even with that, I will say the food did get a bit repetitive. It was very catered toward American tastes and didn’t change much throughout the week — that would be my only real downside.
Aside from that, everything else was wonderful. The service truly stood out. At the swim-up bar, Elias went above and beyond for my kids, who kept ordering virgin margaritas. He even gave my three-year-old a tiny cup that was absolutely adorable. He was so friendly and patient — I couldn’t have asked for better service.
The hotel itself was very clean. Housekeeping came every day, so I never had to worry about a thing. At the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar, Fiona, Nadezca, Steicy, Melvin, Marvin, and Gabriel provided excellent service as well.
Overall, Margaritaville delivered a fun, relaxing vacation with exceptional staff. I would definitely recommend it, especially for families.

The resort was extremely clean and beautiful. The beach was pristine, smooth, unforgettable. The sunsets are brilliant. Our room was spotless everyday, amazing towel animals on the bed; a very nice touch. Wonderful staff. Breakfast staff were so friendly- Rodolfo, Andy, Paulino, Douglas. Jose and Priscilla doing the rec activities were great. Nadesca serving on the deck was very sweet. Jessica at the spa did a lovely hot stone massage. Elliot picked us up from a restaurant when it was dark! Flower got us a round trip uber on her phone that was reliable and reasonable to go to Conshell beach at the last minute on our last day. Everyone was super, even the security was friendly. Close to the resort is the marina and lots of places to eat. We felt totally safe and it was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend!
