Ice bucket in room had hair and water in it. It was unusable. Tv remote seemed dirty. Doors slammed shut on the rooms. Very annoying. Otherwise very nice.

Penny was great at the front desk. Breakfast staff was very friendly and had things ready even at 6:15am….she should be valued as an asset! The people make the experience memorable!

Everything was good. My husband and I stayed in room 416 at the Kitterry, Maine location. One minor thing, the shower head was not set properly. I had to use the hand held shower. I had to figure out how to tighten the shower holder because it kept bowing down and the hand held shower kept falling off.
I took me awhile but I figured it out.
My husband also figured out how to fix the stationary shower head

Our room was not ready at stated check in time.
Manager on duty could of cared less.
Also the hallways and room were overpowering with cleaning fluid smell. General cleanliness could be better.

Nicely appointed Hampton Inn conveniently located
The hotel was easy to get to, there was plenty of parking, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was nice and big with plenty of electrical outlets for our phones, watches, earbuds, hair dryers, etc. They serve the typical Hampton Inn breakfast, and we were impressed with their well- stocked snack and sundries "store" next to the front desk that carries frozen dinners, ice cream, energy drinks, soda and teas, beer and wine, and so much more. There is a great REI-on-steroids type of store a block away (the Trading Post) that's been in person since 1938, I believe, and it carries every brand of outdoor clothing you could want (Kuhl, Carhartt, Patagonia, etc.), and all the equipment and gear for whatever outdoor adventure you're looking for. They're was a great restaurant within walking distance (Robert's Maine Grill). All in all, a very pleasant stopover on our quick trip to Maine.

The shower curtain was not long enough and water pouring on floor. There was conditioner on sink dispenser instead of lotion. Other than that no complaints.
