The staff was great. The room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. For the most part the hotel is very nice. The entrance into the property is a little rough. Pulling into the parking lot I thought I had made a mistake. But once you pass the old buildings and rough asphalt it was clean and nice. Our only complaint was the condition of the hot tub. I could barely walk or stand in the hot tub. It was so rough that it hurt my feet! My feet are more sensitive than most people’s but my girlfriend found it hard to walk on too.
The hotel does have a couple nice extras. There are fresh cookies every day at 3pm and a pot of Seafood Chowder at 5pm. It’s first come, first served. We got to the hotel around 7pm and were able to enjoy a tasty cookie for dessert after a bowl of delicious chowder. We enjoyed our stay. With other nice places to stay in the area we’d most likely try someplace different next time we go to the coast. The price was reasonable. But we were really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub. It was usable but definitely needed an upgrade!

We would stay again
The room and bathroom were clean and everything worked well. The refrigerator could have been colder but it was fine. We took a hot tub and it was clean and hot. This is a fine hotel - it's just a little old and a few things need to be updated. The carpets are old and need to be replaced and the hot tub needs resurfacing. The location is very good. We would stay again.

We had the best time at the Lloyd Hotel. It was a special occasion and they gave us a room with about the best view in Astoria, complete with decorations to mark the event. I am sure the Lloyd was kinda glad the long busy summer was winding down, but the place looked great. Thanks for all You did. Hope to see the Lloyd again soon.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It’s an older hotel that is well maintained and very clean. The staff is awesome. The ocean views are fantastic and loved that it was removed from the busy area. E would stay again!

This is a lovely hotel with an excellent staff. We especially enjoyed the Riverwalk Trail adjacent to the hotel, spacious clean room and special touches such as salmon chowder in the afternoon and a hot breakfast in the morning. We definitely recommend this hotel.
