Beautiful location overlooking the ocean and Ballycotton Lighthouse, a simple Sunday lunch turned out to be an amazing experience, the food was top class, the service impeccable, our waiter Josh was friendly, caring and we totally enjoyed his input as to the dishes and his help with our dessert 🧁, all round I would give the service and food a 10/10. We will return!!

Disappointing stay, expected far better. Hotel is beautiful and rooms are lovely and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful but was not worth the money spent.

The hotel and the staff are so helpful and nice Laura at the front desk was so helpful and cheerful. There was another woman in the restaurant the Friday night she was also very helpful and nice

We stayed here two nights as part of a group tour. The property has old New England charm. Beautiful restaurant, bar and library areas. Our room was huge with a balcony so you could see the ocean. The decor was very nice. You could walk just across the road to the beach. We had breakfast two days and dinner one evening. The food was good. It is about an hour drive from Cork but a very nice property. I just wish we’d had more time during the day to enjoy it. I only had two negatives from the visit: the heat in the room was pretty hard to get to just the right temp. We had to open the door to cool it down. Our shower had no hot water. I contacted the front desk and someone came up. He said the hotel must be out of hot water for the night. So we tried again in the morning with no luck. We asked the people next to us if they had hot water and they said they did so we let the front desk know. They said maintenance would come check later that day. The 2nd night we again had no hot water. I asked if we could get a key to another room to just shower. They were able to get us a room to use on another floor. It was disappointing how they didn’t seem to care and didn’t try to fix it. I should not have had to come up with a solution.
